  1. Apparently unlocked is now on the August patch and here we are still on June...
  2. Hey we could be T-Mobile, that their June and July security updates were just that. No other improvements like Night Mode.
  3. Finally. Yes Night Mode included. You can also tap on your Wi-Fi network to display a QR code for sharing with another S10 user. QR scanner is now in quick toggle settings. I would assume another one will be coming within a few weeks since this is just June. 510MB is definately more than just security. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  4. I do wonder what T-Mobile's standards for decommissioning towers will be. How close will a "not needed" tower be? Obviously this does not apply to shared towers.
  5. Interesting that they say they commit to pricing levels for 3 years... but after that??
  6. I'm sure B71 can be easily enabled with a monthly update on supported phones.
  7. Interesting.. Back to normal today. The only additional thing I did was clear system cache. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  8. Well unless there are big issues in Milwaukee today.. My S10 has gone launch device mobile data dead. 3G only. Tried resetting programming info and same result.
  9. I know that is something a Sprint repair center would have to fix, unfortunately.
  10. FYI: This is from a Sprint Community contact that usually posts about updates: "It was supposed to be this week but saw some issues in the lab. If it is something that can be fixed quickly, then it should be soon. If not, more than likely a bundle with July patch." He says his other contacts are out the rest of the week so he can't find out more detail. I'd say it is a good thing because I'd imagine it is network related issues. Last thing we need is a modem update that is even buggier...
  11. All other carriers have it now. AT&T and Verizon updates include Night Mode. Maybe there's a modem firmware update that Sprint is doing extra testing on?!
  12. I'm not a fan of HPUE either. It happened on my S8 Active, too, where it would hold on to an unusable 41 signal for dear life sometimes. Magenta just received the June update and it includes NO enhancements. Samsung is just giving the love to the Exynos international models now??
  13. Anyone else having an issue that their S10 will occasionally stay on 3G for a long time if it drops LTE? I have to turn off/on airplane mode for LTE to come back right away.
  14. Sounds like Samsung has made some nice improvements to the camera software in the international models (like night mode to not be a joke compared to the Pixel); hopefully that will come to the US ones starting with the June update.
  15. What is the easiest way to request an Airwave? TIA Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  16. If your phone really did just "brick" at this point, then so much for Sprint's claim that software updates would prevent this in the future.
  17. FYI, I've seen a couple of posts that this test has been delayed
  18. I'm convinced Sprint nor Samsung really Knows what the problem is, so yes they're just dragging people around. There have been two software updates that both supposedly fixed issues and I haven't seen one person claim either one helped. I have two on my account. Mine is fine in Milwaukee but 2nd in Chicago has issues.. And not in all areas. He used to have Verizon.. I feel sorry for him but at least he's on a one year free promo. It seems if you can get someone to exchange the device there's a decent chance it'll help. But I have seen a few go through multiple swaps and it doesn't help. There's a clear lack of communication with support and stores and customers. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  19. Based on Reddit comments those that had issues before still have issues after the update. Would an update that small contain modem firmware? Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  20. https://community.sprint.com/t5/Phone-Device-Support-Library/SOLUTION-Samsung-Galaxy-S10-10-Model/ta-p/1038563 Sprint's community post has been updated, and says if you still get no data issues, then the only option is to exchange it.
  21. Read a comment on Reddit from at least one user that the programming reset command ( ##72786# ) has made things better today unlike in the past. We'll see..
  22. I wonder if it has something to do with provisioning/programming the device. You'd think if there were a bunch of defective S10s that other carriers would report the same issues and it would be big news. I find it hard to believe that a defect only affects one or two Sprint bands in some phones. If you do a profile update, even on mine that to this point has been fine, it takes quite a while or even fails. My S8 or other phones would almost immediately complete a profile update. But it is frustrating that they obviously don't know what the problem is because the update today made no difference or some think even worse!?
  23. That is the main thread, and there's a few more that people have made this morning from the update not helping. FYI, I'm not having issues in Milwaukee. Friend in Chicago is. It sounds like it might affect some markets and not others which probably makes the diag more difficult
  24. Reddit users with issues are reporting the update does nothing to fix the issues. Apparently Sprint nor Samsung has a clue what is going on then. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  25. Thanks much for this. Probably should also set it to full use while data saver is on. Didn't even know about the roaming data restrictions until this post. That probably explains why if you have dropped signal, Google will sometimes wait until native to search etc.
