Correct. Without PRL modification, you're out of luck on that, no matter what kind of setup you have. Basically every phone on every provider will prefer weak native signal over strong roaming. It's just a cost thing. Why not pick up some kind of hotspot for when you're on the road without Sprint service?

Having the same issue of no HD calling after I activated WiFi calling in an iPhone 5S. I turned WiFi Calls off from the phone but unable to remove the service online and still with no HD calling in between my phone and that iphone. Tried calling another iphone on my account and HD calling works as I see on my Moto X the HD icon while the call is active.

 

Any suggestions?

Did you try going into the settings on your iPhone, turning wifi calling back on, tapping on "Update Emergency Address", and then on the page check "Remove wifi calling" and then tap done and turn off wifi calling? If you haven't tried that, I would suggest doing that first.

After removing the wifi calling service from the "update emergency address" page, you should do a ##update# to refresh everything, if it doesn't do it automatically. On the iPhone, any changes with wifi calling refreshes the device on the network automatically.

IDK if 18 gigs is enough for you but Verizon is running a promo right now of 18 gigs for $100 and that cost apparently includes the first line. After that it's $20 per line. I know you've talked about wanting to go to them before so I thought I'd mention that if you didn't know about it.

This new XXL plan (18gb) does not include the first line. It's still $20/line, so $120/month.

So how do we preorder the iPhone 6S(Plus) on Lease? Still a 12:01 PDT mess? Or can i just show up at my Sprint Shack or authorized/corporate store and preorder there for pickup the following Friday?

 

I'm traveling for work on Friday the 18th on a day-and-back trip and won't get in until well after midnight. Normally, I wouldn't be bummed, but it's in Columbus for 14 hours (no offense to Ohio folks).

I'm assuming you can do both. Your account should be showing as "upgrade eligible" right now, so you can choose whichever method you want. I'm going to attempt doing it online after midnight and see what happens. If that fails, I'll call telesales when they open that morning.

I wonder what they will do for existing customers who paid up for the 20GB space.

It will be an automatic upgrade, since 20gb won't be offered anymore. At the most, you'll have to manually switch the package in settings

I must say I'm a little bit disappointed with the upgrades for this year. It's not very major, and this whole S model year thing is getting redundant. I think they need to switch it up. Nobody likes seeing the same thing over and over again it's corny. I remember when I used to get excited for a new iPhone, now it's just like oh okay that's cool, what else?

I actually felt the opposite. Paired with iOS 9, I think this is a monster "S" year. I'm thoroughly impressed with everything I saw today. I do agree on the redundancy. It's getting too predictable, and with the increasing number of leaks every year, the Apple event is more of just a confirmation than a surprise.

Back to the iPad for a second: I really wish the keyboard was included, and came with the pencil, and was stored in the actual iPad. Maybe even something where it would charge while stored. This way, they could take a direct stab at the Microsoft Surface.
