  1. Definitely a scam. Why don't you guys just sell your phone through sprint buy back. They're giving a pretty good price you won't even have to put a down payment.

I don't have a down payment on my account, and buy back is half-ish of what I could sell it for.

    eBay app thinks so.

The buyer has zero feedback and is from the UK. I doubt this sold for $2550. Damn.

While it says iPhone 6, it also says "latest model." Maybe people thought you had a 6s somehow? Either way, it's 98% sure to be a scam, and the winner will probably try to retract.

I'm so done with eBay, and the bullsh*t that accompanies selling something expensive online. The iPhone forever plan has saved me from the inevitable late-summer headache of trying to sell a phone to some foreigner who doesn't comprehend online bidding. I've had people jack up the price last second, only to cancel their winning bid TWICE.

Just today, I got an email from the winner of my iPhone 6 that they received 6 days ago stating the iPhone is iCloud locked, and how they're going to report me for selling a stolen phone. I listed it with 7 pictures, and two of them were the receipt, and a screenshot of the logged out iCloud screen. I called apple just to double check, and they told me the phone was recently logged into with a SIM card from Hong Kong, and re-locked with iCloud. This person is trying to scam me I to giving a refund after they probably just needed it for a quick trip overseas. So done with eBay.

  3. Should we rename this thread to reflect the fact that these devices actually exist and are not rumors any more?

This can probably become the "user thread" on the 25th. Not any sooner since nobody will have it until then. Plus, I haven't said my goodbyes to the 6 thread. [emoji41]

  4. Eagle River, Wisconsin, looks to be roaming+ for voice and just roaming for data. I don't have access to a desktop to check the full site. I spent 3 days up there, google maps navigation the whole way up from Chicago, and some basic browsing, emails, and social media. I used 3.3mb of roaming data. Seems very low. I couldn't get iPhone field test to load to get a SID of the roaming partner up there, but someone in the Wisconsin thread said its either Verizon or Cellcom.

  5. I sold my 6/64gb on eBay last week for $601. I started it at $0.01, and ran it for 3 days, ending on a Sunday evening, which is ideal for auctions. It was mint, and had AppleCare+ with both claims remaining. Although I despise eBay, it was my last resort because I didn't get a single message from CL in a week, which is strange as hell. Not sure if that's a good price, because after eBay/PayPal fees, I'll end up with around $530.

  6. Well, I'm backing out of getting a 6s Plus for now. I unlisted my phone on eBay and will be keeping it for now. And when the other 6 Plus arrives at the store this week, I'll just have them send it back.

  7. I haven't gotten an email confirmation either. I did take several screenshots of the order confirmation and other info after checkout, hopefully we will soon.

As long as you saw some kind of confirmation with a number after checking out. I happened to screenshot the order number after checkout, then got the email 1 minute later with the same information. If you got neither, you can call Sprint to get your confirmation number for tracking purposes.

  8. Yeah, riding out this iPhone forever lease for 22 months is the cost of the phone less $200. $200 is the additional fee on top of remaining payments to own the phone. That's why it's cheaper to lease than easy pay if you're not leaving Sprint, and want a new iphone ever September.

  9. According to my update page, I can buyout my lease, or just upgrade, and they'll send me a return kit, I presume. Personally, I'd rather drop it off in store, and get some kind of return proof. I've heard some horror stories about carriers claiming they never received your device, and $850 shows up on your next bill.
