  1. Apple needs to break all of its apps away from the OS. They should be upgradable from the App Store, and not have to be bundled in an OS upgrade. 8.4.1 just to update Apple Music? Sent from my iPhone 6
  2. Is it bad that I'm waiting until the day before I sell my 6 to swap out my device that has the front camera shift? #freshiphonessellbetter Sent from my iPhone 6
  3. They pissed off a lot of the Galaxy faithful. I don't have their sales numbers, but based on every social media post about the S6, not many were willing to upgrade their S5. Sent from my iPhone 6
  4. Those, plus no expandable memory, and a high, memory-based pricing structure. It's basically an iPhone running lollipop. Sent from my iPhone 6
  5. As long as you're still under warranty, they'll fix it/swap it. I had a power button go flat on my 5s, and they didn't even hesitate to swap the phone out. Sent from my iPhone 6
  6. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give it a few days and see. Maybe it's just that new phone syndrome where the battery and OS need to "break in." Is that even a thing? Or is it simply a placebo effect. Sent from my LG G4
  7. A few things, actually, and they're quite major: I miss having my notifications light up my lock screen. Lollipop shows the notifications on the lock screen, but doesn't light up the screen as they come in so I can see things hands-free while driving (I'm a trucker, and hands-free everything is a must). I miss Siri, but OK Google -- or whatever it's called -- works pretty much the same except, again, not lighting up the screen during voice commands (pressing the Bluetooth button gives me the voice, but the screen is off, and texts are blindly voice dictated). I disabled LG's garbage voice assistant so only Google voice activates. Lastly, I just miss how everything in iOS is tied together, whereas, everything in Android is separate, and requires a different app. I asked Google to remind me about something at a specific time, it entered it into whatever reminder feature Google uses, but never reminded me with a notification, or sound. What's up with that, Google? If I could figure out a way to solve these issues, I could learn to love it. Also, the fact that it's nearly $400 less than what I planned on spending next month helps, too. Sent from my LG G4
  8. I just installed that battery app. I'll need a refresher on Android before I start killing processes, because I'm not sure which are bad.
  9. Brand new. I have to turn off battery percentage because it's disgusting how fast it drains. Like 1% per 30 seconds-1 minute
  10. From what I was told Sunday in the store, you can end a lease at any time by paying off all remaining payments plus the buyout price, which still doesn't let you keep the device. You have to give it back, but you'll again be upgrade eligible. You can't, however, just give back the device at anytime and get a new device without paying.
  11. I've also joined the G4 club a few days ago. I've got it setup in a way where I don't miss iOS too much. Lollipop is actually kind of nice, but my battery life is horrible. Way worse than a regular iPhone 6. I'm averaging 6-8 hours off charger with 2-3 hours screen time. Is that normal? Any suggestions. P.S. carrier aggregation is fantastic, and Android phones handle the Sprint network way better than an iPhone.
  12. I'm not so worried about the site malfunctioning, but more so my timing. I don't want to be too late, and end up in that dreaded "ships mid-October" group, or worse. I want to get in the first shipment group for once. Sent from my iPhone 6
  13. Verizon and AT&T can do whatever they want. They have a reputation, and solid networks. People won't leave in droves because of this. In fact, they'll probably gain customers like they always somehow manage to do. Sent from my iPhone 6
  14. Exactly. That's why I got excited when I saw "$0.00." Sent from my iPhone 6
  15. It lets me add it, but it never really takes. I also get an email saying it was successfully added, though. Oh well, at least I was able to add open world without having to call or chat. Sent from my iPhone 6
  16. I've never bought an iPhone on launch day. This will be my first time. I've always tried, but something with Sprint or Apple's website always messes up, and I give up. I'm determined this year to have a good experience. Sent from my iPhone 6
  17. Really? I've only had Framily since its inception, and it's always said $5. Sent from my iPhone 6
  18. I was able to add Open World to my account online. Also, did anyone notice that direct connect is FINALLY free? I added that, too, and I'm going to mess around with it later. Sent from my iPhone 6
  19. $45 framily with a full-price (no contract) iPhone. About 30gb per month, and never throttled. Sprint used to throttle the heavy data users on congested towers, but they backed off of that. Sent from my iPhone 6
  20. This is cool. My brother is getting married in the Dominican Republic in April. Although the resort has wifi, a little bit of data will be nice if we venture out. Also, if I'm reading this right, is this similar to t-mobile's North American roaming thing? We can call/text Canada/Mexico, and use our phones with unlimited talk/text and 1gb while in Canada/Mexico? Sent from my iPhone 6
  21. *except loss or theft. Sent from my iPhone 6
  22. I believe I read somewhere that it will happen sometime early 2016. But without a source, it's pure conjecture. It will be a B4+B2 aggregation (15x15+5x5, respectively) which is about all T-Mobile can do in the Chicago market for the foreseeable future.
  23. Yeah, I'm really considering this phone. It's so hard to get me away from my iPhone, but I'm getting bored. I get bored with a phone after a few months, and I've done a ton of research on the G4, and it seems like it would work for me. I also want to see how a new Android will handle the Sprint network with reception and band switching, because the iPhone is absolutely terrible in those departments. Plus, I miss Signal Check Pro. 24. If you buy this phone in the store, do they give you the battery, charger, and leather back? Or, do they fill something out, and ship it to you.
  25. I watched the Metallica live stream, and that sea of people was insane. To have Sprint performing well enough to have been able to actually use your phone there is quite a feat. Also, I saw Twitter that Sprint had a phone charging tent there which is awesome. It would be even better if the tent was only for Sprint customers. That paired with usable service might sway some people who had bricks in their pocket all day.
