  1. Lets just hope it comes out on Oct 25th as rumored in this article.
  2. I have at an ATT store. Its too big for me. Width and height wise. Lets just say the dimensions of the Note 3 was already pushing it for me. So even with triband LTE capability i wont be picking it up. Sent from my Motorola Photon 4G using Tapatalk 2
  3. I dont know but still u need enough contiguous spectrum to run at 168 Mbps. At this point sprint doesnt need that yet. Sent from my Motorola Photon 4G using Tapatalk 2
  4. Oh so its not necessarily the Sprint model correct?
  5. The chip has nothing to do with the LTE frequency bands its supports. However you do need a S800 chip if your phone wants to support LTE carrier aggregation which I don't see any wireless carrier doing for at least another few years.
  6. Uh oh... this pretty much kills any chance of Sprint reworking the phone to include triband LTE capabilities if a floor model is already sent to Sprint stores and 3rd party affiliates. How is the performance of the Note 3 in terms of its zippyness and your impression on the Air Command features?
  7. The heart of the Galaxy Mega 6.3 is a Snapdragon 400 as confirmed by Qualcomm. There are also some other specs that are different than the Note 3 but its not a shabby phone for a midrange LTE phone. http://www.qualcomm.com/snapdragon/smartphones/finder?processor=9
  8. I am glad to see more triband LTE devices entering the Sprint ecosystem. This Galaxy Mega 6.3 phone is just too big for me. I played with it at the AT&T store awhile back and the phone is huge!!! For me personally I think the phone is too big for me not only to hold but for being able to pocket the phone. For those of you now interested with the Galaxy Mega 6.3 over the Note 3, I suggest you play with the Galaxy Mega 6.3 at an AT&T store to really see how big of a monster phone this is so you can get an idea if you truly want this phone. I even have a photo taken side by side between a LG Optimus G Pro and a Galaxy Mega 6.3 so you can see the difference. If people are interested in seeing it, I can upload it.
  9. Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is triband LTE. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/blog/1/entry-354-teaser-megalith-megahertzsamsung-galaxy-mega-63/
  10. So does anyone think now that the Galaxy Mega 6.3 and GS4 mini have triband LTE support that Sprint might hold off the Galaxy Note 3 release and try to fix the lack of triband LTE issue with Samsung?
  11. I saw that Sprint put a press release for the iPhone 5C and 5S release on September 20th. Anyone curious why Sprint did try to emphasize dual band LTE in the press release? I guess the iPhone 5C and 5S users will be pleasantly surprised to get LTE coverage deep indoors in 2014.
  12. No the Sprint LG G2 doesn't support SVLTE as confirmed in the FCC docs and in AJ's article. You can see that CDMA and LTE share the same transmission path. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/blog/1/entry-350-bande-%C3%A0-part-lg-g2-is-the-first-announced-sprint-tri-band-lte-handset/
  13. Yup the Galaxy Mega 6.3 must be the 2nd device with triband LTE support.
  14. At this point, its hard to believe what evleaks says. Since they have been wrong before I wouldn't put much stock into that. At the very least they should be putting a S600 chip in there but I still fully expect that the HTC One Max to be a S800 to remain competitive. Evleaks is not the fortune teller tech gods that are all knowing. They have been wrong before and I believe they could be wrong again on this one.
  15. Seriously Samsung. Why are they alienating the Note 3 to be single band LTE when the Mega and GS4 mini are triband?
  16. Agreed. I don't know why Samsung couldn't pack the B26 and B41 antennas into the Note 3 since its got more phone real estate especially since they already have had to order the B26 and B41 antennas for the GS4 mini....*shrug*
  17. Who knows why samsung decided to release the note 3 with single band lte. Its not samsungsresponsibility to ensure proper sprint network management. B26 and B41 are unique LTE band for sprint so maybe shamesung thought they didnt think it was worth the cost because of the demand. Join the anti-Note 3 club. I am going to get the LG G2 phone now. Sent from my Motorola Photon 4G using Tapatalk 2
  18. This is old news. I know the note 3 is not triband LTE Sent from my Motorola Photon 4G using Tapatalk 2
  19. Ehh I don't know about this. I mean why would the "P" variant specs be sent to the FCC if it had no intention of truly supporting only single band LTE? I am sure Sprint is not happy about it being single band LTE only but I don't think Samsung would just make a "P" variant that has all of Sprint's freq bands sit there unreleased unless Sprint is playing the game of chicken. I have really high doubts that we will see another FCC filing with triband LTE capabilities because any rework of the Note 3 to include additional frequency reports will delay the release of the Note 3 by another 2-3 months. I highly doubt Sprint is going to delay the release of the Note 3 until December.
  20. I have to think that HTC would want to host an event to hype up the device of why the HTC One Max is better than the Note 3 and Optimus G Pro before they release it in October.
  21. Why not just add a SD card for extra storage? That is why customers love smartphones with a SD card slot.
