    tried stock messenger, hangouts, and chomp sms. they all behave the same (do not work correctly). there is definitely a bug with either 5.0, or the nexus 6, or sprint.

    curious as to why you went through the trouble to do this. speed difference is supposed to be negligible to zero between encrypted and not...

    since moving to the 5.0 official the phone hangs on to LTE much better than it did on 4.4.4 even using the same radio.

    yes i believe that is how it works too. if you want it to notify you visually but without a sound you just set that up in system, sound&notification to your liking.

    all you do is tap vol up OR down. then click 'none'. this means you will get no alerts/notifications/etc.
