  3. IMHO Power line internet is evil. AC wiring was never intended to carry broadband data.

  8. Well nothing I can seen done there yet. Fair warning it's in back of a large towing fenced in yard off what looks a public road. It had a road sign off Zumbehl. It looked like road would meander outside the fence past the tower, but its all private property and they don't like visitors. They blocked me in and I had to explain "what the hell" I was up to. I suggest we skip checking anything on this site you can not see from Zumbehl.
  9. Never noticed that Elm Point Rd site. Saved it to Waze will run home grab the camera and check it out. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4
  10. LTE at the edge of usable where I set inside the RF sheilded room with the door open. Outside its pretty good.

  13. I over complicated it... 3 digit style better than Gangnam Style tho... 15 minutes of fame shot I think. Bad Dave Bad...
  14. HTC and Apple use a Hex code for the unique site/sector usually about 8 hex digits long (if you count the leading 0).\ Samsung use a typically 3 digit decimal number that also identifies the site/sector. There are only so many of them so I can see why Lilg740 prefers the Hex id's. Adjacent towers should not have the same 3 digit numbers. The thing is the 3 digit numbers are not a shortened version of the big hex number, there is no way to convert the two. And with 38,000 sites there are going to be repeats. I said typically 3 digits because well some are 2 or maybe even 1 digit for a sector when you drop the leading zeros. They are numbered like x, x+169, x+(169x2) so if the lowest number sector is 62 the other two will be 231 and 400. If I understand the Hex id's right the first 6 digits will be the same for all the sectors and the last two will change so they just refer to them like 0561CExx for the example a couple posts back. Enough to ID the site and any of the sectors. Lilg will correct any mistakes I made or confusion I may have caused I hope.
  15. Hex Well I can't get you the accepted or HEX but I got the -80 part beat at least.
  16. ego lte the phone thinks highly of itself... Will be nice to get the hex sector id's. Worked for me all day. The signal from Motherhead is only -110 at my bench but its usable on the Note 2.
  17. I hope they bring out a Sprint version of the opt in app they have for Softbank wireless customers that helps them find network issues soon. It would sure help with sites with swapped sectors. Overloaded cell pinpointing etc. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4
  18. Oops put in map thread http://www.s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/4484-Missouri-Market-NV-Map#entry193591 Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4
  19. See my previous post Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4
  20. I'm getting a very weak LTE signal inside my rf cage with the door open for the first time at the end of Jason Ct. near the Motherhead site. Serving cell is 491. Ping is over 360 and download under 0.5 Mbps. Strength - 116 to - 110. Doesn't match anything does it? Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4
  21. Better chance it will be up before the Rams win one.
  22. I just want to put a plug in here for those of you who can do split screen on your phone. Digiblur uses the multiwindow feature when he is grabbing sector id's. Open the debug menu and get the LTE engineering up then drag Maps over to split screen with the engineering data. Take a snap shot you got the sector id, time at the top of the screen. and the exact location you were at on the map. Its awesome!
  23. Missouri – 7 updates (6 LTE) Oklahoma – 5 updates (LTE)
  24. Look for Sprint site code numbers like area sown in the Sponsor section on the boxes. Lots of the contractors here scribble the site code number on the boxes and even the RRU's. If you find one it should pretty well nail it as work for Sprint. The site number would likely be different if it was for another network.
