  1. The article say you have 14 days to lock in your roster ????? you cant add people later on???

From the moment one customer signs up for a Framily plan he or she has 14 days to recruit members before the plan roster is locked in.

Only being able to add people for the 1st 14 days and not being able to merge existing friends is going to make some people mad.

After reading through Sprint's Q&A about this it appears that new subscribers have 14 days to inform Sprint that they are joining a Framily Plan. Not that you have 14 days to "recruit" your roster.

  2. Well I can definitely say having all three bands or even two takes a toll on battery left. With one band enabled I could make it through a full day of work. 12 hours Using play music streaming and calls over Bluetooth. I turned on one of the other bands accidentally and my battery life was cut in half.

    Is anyone else noticing this?

Is this why lg Google are waiting to release the update?

I own a LG G2 and notice no difference in battery life with the other bands turned on or off.

  5. It has also been mentioned here that you cant goto a third party retailer as they only have access to the new plans. I don't know how true that is but I did try to add another line online and was unable to keep my data everything plan and add a new line. I went into a sprint corporate store and they were able to add it on for me.

There was a week or 2 that we (Best Buy) were forced to move upgrades to the new plans. That has since been corrected. We have no issues processing upgrades on older plans.

  6. I thought there were a few cities that have 800 LTE. I saw a couple of sites in Chicago, Houston, parts of Wisconsin and parts of Florida had it. So are those not active yet?

There are 800 LTE sites completed, but as of now Sprint is not allowing connections.

  7. Little do these folks know they simply need to get their free phone from Obama (sorry, I just couldn't resist the opportunity):

    Keep it classy Cleveland...

You should have resisted. Not only is that joke not very accurate, it is overused to the point of actually not having any humor left in it.

  8. Has anyone found a way to get wifi tethering yet? I am rooted and downloaded the app, but it is not working like it did on my photon...

Yes, you call Sprint and add wireless tethering to your plan. It will work as designed.

  9. Jeesh.. resize your screenshots already.

Anyway, I was digging into the wrong menus.

However, there still doesn't appear to be a way to turn off the active listening while still allowing Google Now to function with voice activation. That's the part I really like, but don't need it on my homescreen.

The battery consumption should theoretically by very minimal. It only works while on your home screen. How often are you just staring at the home screen?

  10. Sprint has eased up on the sprint one up requirements. You can now do the one up on a data share 1500. I guess they realized people with 3 or 4 lines want to do one up with out raising their bill $100.

This went live yesterday but i haven't seen anyone post about it.

Is there a discount on the plan similar to the My Way plans?

  11. I wonder if they will let you activate an old phone.

    Very interesting deal....

I assume it doesnt work if you are already on Sprint?

That would require a port out and then a port in right?

I think I read something that said they charge 1.5 cents/MB (so $15/GB) over. There is also an option to pay $10/month for unlimited data instead of 1 GB.

You can not bring your own device. The device must be purchased at Best Buy.

You can not convert a current line to the student promotion. The number for a port in can not have been active on a Sprint line in the previous 45 days.

You can add on unlimited data for $10 a month.
