Verizon's rack at the rodeo site has been upgraded, too.

No new sprint stuff yet, but I believe that's new AWS verizon hardware on the top rack.

The band 41 rollout is going to be interesting to watch. I'm sure Verizon's AWS will be wonderful, but I'm not convinced enough to switch at this point.

No, this one is in Fresno.

What could we possibly hear? There's still a bunch of sites that need to be worked on before Fresno can be launched.

For what it's worth, there's at least two contractor companies that are doing the fresno/clovis work; caltrop and cba site services.

Up until about 10 weeks ago, there was only 1 site in Fresno that had upgraded hardware. Now there's a bunch. You really have three options, in order of preference: 1. Pay attention to what I'm reporting, because clearly I'm the only one in the Fresno area who gives a shit and is willing to go out and investigate. 2. Stay at home and be positive. 3. Leave, change carriers, whatever. It's one less user.

Based on all of the driving I've been doing to keep track of all of this stuff, much of it in areas I rarely or never would go to otherwise, I think my way is harder. It is more satisfying, though. I'm not sure what the breakdown is on fresno's progress. Maybe 25%?

Yeah, I suggest being proactive about monitoring the rollout here in fresno, like I am, but I guess bitching and moaning is easier.

Nothing around the airport of note, at least as of two weeks ago. I haven't had time lately to go check them out.

I drove by the Farmersville tower yesterday and again confirmed its GMO-ness (same config for the site in Fowler and the one in Visalia at 198/Akers). It's possible that you were seeing the site at Ben Maddox and the 198 or you were seeing some rustling on the tower north of Exeter.
