Makes you wonder why they simply said they got rid of it if its still an option! Maybe final build won't have it there at all but hopefully you keep it for those that want it. I know my mom who previously had the lg optimus G found the iPhone a lot simpler to use due to lack of app drawer. So for older folks and less technically inclined it does make sense

Sprint or Clear sites. I have nlt noticed that behavior on Sprint sites just the clear ones with a second carrier activated. Took my walk this morning as there are broadcasting but intermittent function, as it will hand off then disconnect. Was able to run a speed test and it doesn't appear to be CA activated as the speeds where much lower than the Sprint site in the same vicinity. If I had another device I could properly tell if my observation was true.

The site borked I'm not sure. But it seemed the second day when the other Sprint LTE sites went live they did as well. But that site stopped working since that day. So it's on and broadcasting but almost like in test mode. So it's sporadic. I'll check tomorrow on my morning errand run see if it's properly broadcasting.

I got 41474 in the Bronx at Buffalo Wild Wings for the other day myself I thought it was a typo in the iPhones field test screen.

This is the device that I was hoping for last year. This is a good evolution of the g3 design compared to the g4 which I didn't particularly care for. If I didn't already have my Nexus 6p I would be on this!

Came across one picking up my friend tonight going across university Ave in the bx. The one that is having issues around my way is actually a hardware issue for those two sites. Reported to sprint tonight, and they said they were aware of one but not the other. So at least it is known.

Yeah. So the clear sites aren't even broadcasting Signal by me anymore that were previously activated which makes me think a possible hardware issue? So there is a hole where there use to be band 41 coverage since launch as those were the first towers to go live with LTE originally. While it seems all current sprint sites in my immediate vicinity are broadcasting a second carrier now.

Well well getting my morning coffee I was able to for a brief not even a second connect to the second carrier from the clear LTE tower that's by the McDonalds on Broadway. But it disconnected as soon as it showed the signal as being available. Which means they're probably still attempting to tune before it goes live officially. Closest sprint LTE site was also acting a little weird as well today so that's something that I noticed . I was on band 25 most of the time I was in the area. On a side note I notice that the blocks around me that has sprint band 41 LTE got their second carrier turned on. I noticed while leaving my building multiple neighbor PCI showing a second identical numbers. Ran a quick test and popped a 30 plus on a tower that usually i am not lying gets 500 kbps most times.

Best part pings are relatively low as well. No one else in the city is reporting in. Where is Manhattan Queens Bk and SI.

What speeds around this time would you usually get? I noticed the clear towers around me where offline or working at severely reduced to non existent performance this morning while getting my coffee. So hoping tomorrow I'll see them up and running again.

Can confirm that sprint LTE towers in lower Westchester larchmont and rye are broadcasting the second carrier as well with aggregation. Was able to run a test while in traffic on the hutch and got over 80 while coasting through the sector. I get faint Band 41 signal from my work location in Rye Westchester but while in the parking lot not touching my phone I got edge of cell about 35 Mbps down. 110 dBm at the time.

I wasn't up that way personally. Did u ever get back to check? I was over by moshulu and Pelham myself and didn't see any difference in PCI in the area. Quick edit... Looking at my log I did pick up a few sites it seems.

My site is 41276 for the 1st haven't seen the other second carrier as I need another phone to check. I should have an iphone to confirm in moment once I'm back in my area.

So after a morning walk I can tell that most of sprint LTE sites have a second Carrier live and are aggregated. The clear LTE sites in the area are still running a single LTE carrier currently. This all seems to be centered around 10463 Bronx area. So it appears to be a cluster launch cuz I walked in to 10468 and none of the carriers had a LTE second Signal live.

I'm so happy to see it finally live up and running, its such a good feeling. I'm smiling with tears in my eyes lol... J/k but its awesome. I live in this bubble and nice to see network progress!

Nexus 6p blows for that. I had to use my mom's iPhone to check the earfcn change the other day. I noticed my Signal fluctuations as well. So knew something was up recently.

This is in the Kingsbridge area. I noticed two of the same PCI another site further up the block from me as well. Speeds usually at this hour average usually stuck around 2mbps before that at best!

I'm pretty certain it just went live as of 12am this "morning"... Shows same pci in my Signal check and lte discovery... Never hit 50 plus on my home site any hour of the day! Added one more screen to show it broke 80.

Well I'm noticing now that, they've moved to a different earfcn. Signal strength in the same locations is quite a bit more fragile recently. I'm guessing the days I was getting better speeds, was evidence of majority of users being dropped off band 41 while they worked on the switch. Had to do a profile update to require signal those days.
