Interesting. CVS here has supported NFC for quite some time. I recall using Google Wallet to purchase things there not too long after the Note 3 was released. The cashiers would just stare as though it were magic. It seems that CVS (and other companies) just dumped the NFC terminals into the stores but never bothered to explain to the cashiers what they were or how they worked.

No. No current Sprint phone will do 3 carrier aggregation. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

This little squabble seems vaguely reminiscent of the Lightsquared vs GPS industry saga.

That seems to be a mighty big "if". -
IBEZ 800MHz Retrofit

I would think that'd almost certainly be Airpeak. -

Indeed it should. However FYI, the free wireless charger that Samsung is giving away for signing up with Samsung Pay is just the standard one, not the newer version that supports Fast Charge with the Note 5 and S6+. I opted for the free wallet case and I'll pick up the Fast Charge wireless charger from Amazon or somewhere at some point. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

Personally, I'm not really considering the 5X at all. If I do get a Nexus device it will almost certainly be the 6P. I prefer having a phone with a bigger screen. And that's assuming that the 6P has full Sprint compatibility, of course.

Sprint "Open World" plan (replaces International Value Roaming)

And I just noticed this: http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/09/18/cuba-usa-sprint-idUSL1N11O1KC20150918 I guess I was on the same page as someone in Overland Park. -

I suppose it ultimately depends on one's definition of "freely", but yes, it's quite possible. http://www.cubaati.com/qualifications_family.html http://havana.usembassy.gov/travelling_cuba.html And of course: http://www.upi.com/Top_News/World-News/2015/09/18/US-to-lift-travel-business-restrictions-against-Cuba-for-first-time-in-decades/5511442604750/ -
Sprint "Open World" plan (replaces International Value Roaming)

There's like 2+ million Cuban Americans in the US in states like Florida, New York and New Jersey. Marcelo has made it a well known point to target Latinos, so I'd imagine Cuba probably has as much strategic value as say, Guatemala or El Salvador for instance. -
Sprint "Open World" plan (replaces International Value Roaming)

So VZW is offering international roaming in Cuba: http://www.verizonwireless.com/news/article/2015/09/verizon-is-first-national-us-wireless-carrier-to-offer-roaming-in-cuba.html Being VZW, it's prohibitively expensive. It would be a definite positive if Marcelo and Sprint gave Cuba the Open World treatment. It could only improve Sprint's popularity in south Florida. -
Awesome to read! I haven't been to "America's Roller Coast" Cedar Point since before I moved from Michigan almost a dozen years ago. I'm finally going to take my kids there next year. Can't wait!
