  1. Indeed. Even T-Mobile doesn't include Bahamas in their list of global roaming countries.
  2. A wise man over in the PRL thread sorta predicted this happening…
  3. AT&T obviously views Sprint's offer as more of a threat than a gimmick or else they'd just take the money and run the ads. Perhaps an open letter should be penned to the FCC and DoJ as well. Something simple and to the point along the lines of Dear FCC & DoJ: Is this what you envisioned when you approved the AT&T-DirecTV merger-censorship and anti-competitive tactics? How is that in the American public's best interest? -M
  4. Perhaps the AT&T representative should've spelled out what exactly is misleading about it. Moreover, whether it's misleading or not, that's a choice that the consumer should be allowed to make, not AT&T.
  5. LSU was playing McNeese State. I think it hit everybody hard…except for The_Q curiously.
  6. I was watching that game and saw that coming almost like it was in slow motion. Works for me though since I picked BYU I was looking and somebody with a lot more faith in BYU than myself assigned something like 25 confidence points to the Cougars . Lucky them!
  7. Nah. Like rats, they had pretty much jumped off of the sinking ship by the time that particular thread was created.
  8. What's funny to me is that a couple of the main people that helped to kill that site don't even post there anymore and haven't for a while. They came, spread their poison and as soon as the patient became terminal, moved on. The only thing of note that they've had to talk about over there for some time is the affairs of this site. Sad. I also find it amusing that a member over there has, for reasons unknown, threatened to do AJ bodily harm should she ever meet him. http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2776287&postcount=5
  9. Interestingly, in the latest PRL mostly international and Alltell SIDs were removed. There was one USCC SID (1173) in Idaho that was removed. I wonder if there's any connection there. FWIW I attached a picture of Syringa's local coverage map.
  10. So it looks like in addition to the aforementioned international SIDs, this update removed a number of Alltel SIDs as well. SID 1173 in Geography 3 is a USCC SID in Idaho.
  11. I feel ya. This beauty has me rethinking my Nexus plans if it comes to Sprint. I tweeted at Marcelo to suggest that they carry it. Hopefully he listens.
  12. Well now they've got a blueprint that apparently works according to third-party testing. Now just duplicate their Kauffman Stadium efforts at every NFL, NCAA, MLB, NBA and NHL stadium and arena and they'll be cooking with gas.
  13. Further down MrBamHam specifically asked him if he torrented the movie and he said no. /shrug
  14. In the Dominican Republic and Mexico I'm very confident that that's exactly the reason. I dunno about the other countries. Maybe more countries are being added to Open World and Sprint Global Roaming.
  15. I read through the posts and it didn't look like anybody admitted to torrenting. Which thread are you referring to?
  16. I'm fairly sure that geographies 19-21 are mostly international such as Mexico, Dominican Republic, Turks & Caicos, Bermuda, Aruba, etc. I guess no more CDMA roaming in those areas...
  17. I don't *think* that anybody is arguing in favor of the alleged data hogs at all (though I would like eventually to hear from those that get contacted just to get their side of the story); using 2 TB a month over wireless is just ridiculous. Hell using that much with a wired connection seems loony. However, I do think that a number people here and elsewhere may have called this turn of events. I mean, IIRC didn't he essentially invite them over? At some point earlier in his 'Uncarrier' thing wasn't he basically telling to everyone to come on over and use data because their network could handle it? Boasting that they have so much capacity per subscriber and their network is built 'data strong'? It shouldn't be too much of a shock that some jerks would take his braggadocio to the nth degree.
  18. Firstly, I don't live in your house so there's that. Second, I didn't feel the need to transcribe the guy's entire Periscope. However, I did state where Legere made his remarks so that people know exactly where to go listen for themselves. Lastly, I never even remotely claimed or implied that T-Mobile couldn't handle a Youtube stream. I specifically mentioned that he stated data abusers. Now if you consider streaming a Youtube video data abuse then so be it. However, before accusing somebody of being dishonest maybe you could ask a question or have some sort of dialogue before making baseless ASSumptions. Or do you not do that in your house?
  19. Very illegal, eh? Abusive sure, but what specific law makes using 2 TB "very illegal"? Also, if you're going to come at me and imply that I said something dishonest please at least point out what I said that's untrue. Thanks.
  20. Legere just finished a Periscope where he decided to rant about data abusers on his network. He vowed to take action against the idiot, loudmouth (the irony) data abusers who are screwing it up for everybody. Of course, he claims that the data abusers will try to hide behind net neutrality. Expect a blog from him tomorrow about it. Needless to say, I was rather amused.
  21. What phone is she using? Did she ever set it up initially while she was in the U.S.?
