  1. They will not release it until Sprint and Airspan finalizes their alternative backhaul mode infrastructure and software. This is because it requires usage of the MB Gen 3 ethernet port which is non working as of current software releases. Likewise it is the same for the Airave 4 LTE. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  2. That unit weighs far more than an 8t8r antenna and radio setup FYI. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  3. Factoid of the Day: Drones are great for photographing cell sites. Thanks @nowerlater!
  4. Absolutely not. I've had it for weeks as a test subject. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  5. No TBD. Just like MB Gen 3s ethernet / wifi BH. =( Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  6. The pending Airave 4 would supposedly be mostly pushed to residential folks who likely have decent home ISP while MBs will be more for business and commercial entities. Ofcourse there's nothing stopping one getting a MB for a home if they want to and vice versa with an Airave 4. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  7. Incorrect. Airave 4 is the successor. GEN 3 MB has the option for a CDMA module but it will utilize the ethernet connection. As the ethernet / wifi alternative backhaul mode is not ready or enabled on the Gen 3, one can see why the Airave 4, which is a close relative of the Gen 3 Magic Box, are not released yet. 8. Yep. As of now the only actual NR equipment are Sprints 2.5 M-mimo units and a few 28 GHz units for Verizon, tmobile, att, and the like. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  9. No. NR requires new M-MIMO hardware Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  10. Maybe... CHECK UR HANGOUTS MESSAGES!
  11. Don't mind me... just passing through. 😉
  12. Added. I'll try to find more pictures of the C4's in various config (triband ant, dual band ants, octoports, etc).
  13. Approximately 17,000 give or take a few hundred due to ongoing Clearwire conversions or new colocations.
  14. Very true. I've noticed some in my market as well. Though generally speaking it's a good rule of thumb.
  15. A good rule of thumb is PCI > 400 is highly likely to be a small cell or mini macro of some type. PCI > 480 is usually a femto cell class device like an Airave 3 or a Magic box.
  16. Negative. The S8 uses the BYOD 506TQ which is the C sim card in the 4-in-1 kit. The S10 uses the D sim card in the kit which is the 516TQ. The regular Sprint sims are SIMOLW416TQ in the S10's vs SIMOLW416Q in the S8's which are different.
  17. Time to see what the P3 has to offer....
  18. Spreadsheet has been updated to include more devices with more to be posted as I get through em. Also included a link to Sprints website to purchase the 4-in-1 sim card kit.
  19. Yes. 760492044714 is the part number for telesales, sprint care, etc. At physical retailers they have part number 760492044707. They're both identical SIMOLW516TQ cards but have different part #'s for inventory purposes.
  20. The 4-in-1 sim card. 760492044707 SIMOLW516TQ 760492044707 Alternatively this would work as well. CZ4114TLWQ 854798005224 SIMOLW416TQ Spreadsheet has been updated to reflect this.
  21. No estimates at this time. Just straight up "no" as recent answers.
  22. The posted one is the GEN 1 OG (AU545) release model with the E-Ink display. Gen 2 is the same unit with a LCD display with ID AU544. There's also a hospitality version AU546 that has better aesthetics and water resistance. I wonder if they modified that unit you got with active cooling as all the MBs and radios these days are passively cooled using heatsinks. S1000 is an indoor LTE femto cell produced by commscope / airvana. Same LTE unit that's inside Airave 3's.
  23. If something so critical as R&S at a cell site is EOL'd then they're likely long replaced. Most recent Sprint sites that are documented use newer generation Cisco routers / switches.
  24. Only Samsung Clearwire sites show up in SCP and those are capable of up to 4 LTE 2500 carriers. Many of them were upgraded with the 3rd B41 carriers in the past year.
