  1. Im kind of conflicted about unlimited too. I have the 1500 minuets unlimited plan and i like the unlimited. I think of your using the data you pay for no matter how much that is then u shouldn't be judged for it. However those people that use hundreds of GBs without tethering, i think that's a little much and constitutes abuse. If a carrier is gonna have a truly unlimited plan, then there gonna suffer the consequences of abusers. Look at how much tmobile has slowed down from it Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  2. I see ur point of view. But isnt this a little different then tethering. Your not sharing your connection with other devices, your just using a tv to enhance the view of ur screen. Your still only using the data on just your phone and your phone only. I dont recall if that is against the T&M's but i could be wrong. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  3. So is using ur phone through a tv against the rules? It's not tethering or anything and ur only using the data on your phone. I've got a perfectly working computer with wifi so I'm good but i was just wondering if sprint can do anything about the customers on unlimited that do that Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  4. I agree with this. So many people tell me to download add block on my computer but i dont see the point. I know some of these people are trying to make a living off these ads and 15 seconds of my life to watch a video or see an ad just isnt a big deal for me. If you truley like the content then an ad should be no big deal. The only exception are those annoying ads that are intentionally hard to x out of Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  5. Buy nationwide 10x10 600 and then leave ur band 26 on low power and it will just help with congestion on band 25. Then you will have amazing high and mid band speeds and very good low band speed as a back up. I assume once sprint densifies that low band won't be as important and will only be used for backup when ur inside a building that mid or high doesnt reach. Therefore you dont need huge amounts of capacity on low band Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  6. Wow never knew that was there, thanks Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  7. Sorry to get off topic but how did u make ur theme dark Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  8. Ya exactly, everyone always says ur flashing ur e-peen but in reality the only reason i care about faster speeds is because it means the tower has plenty of capacity Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  9. Alright thanks for clarifying Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  10. Either in the ntelos thread or the shentel thread someone asked if shentel could buy swiftel. And someone else said they could make shentel-west. I think it was more a joke but figured it could be possible for shentel to buy swiftel Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  11. I know they cant buy them out now but what about after the contract expires. Also ive heard on this site that shentel can buy them. So y not just facilitate a buyout through shentel Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  12. That really sucks. Ive read this entire thread at least a couple times and i fail to understand how the stalemate between these companies could go on for so long. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  13. Faster ping for self driving cars and other ping needy devices. From what i understand though 6 2.5 carriers on 5g has more capacity than 6 carriers of 2.5 on LTE. If someone thinks that's wrong than please say something cuz im not fully sure Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  14. So are we getting a s5gru.com website now!!! Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  15. Its more for capacity. The higher the speed means u can distribute it to more devices. That is what 5g is all about is handling all these new internet devices being connected to networks Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  16. That ping though [emoji108] [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  17. So sprint could put up like 2 sites and say it's substantial service. I don't think that would fly with the FCC there has to be a specific number to go by. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  18. Disclaimer this might be a long post. Is there any news on the sioux falls market. I lived there for the first 15 years of my life until i moved to Atlanta 2 years ago. All i remeber is that the network was extremely slow. Calls and texts worked whenever i needed it but data was a lost cause. I think there is a clear protection site up there in the middle of downtown. Any chance sprint converts that into a native tower or can they not do that because of swiftel. Also speaking of swiftel, is there any news on them. I know basically everyone hates them but are they really not doing anything. There has to be a ceo or someone running the company making decisions but that company seems to be at a standstill. Will they ever upgrade there equipment. If they refuse than sprint is gonna leave them and then they would have nothing holding them up so what will they do then. If anyone has any news on the sioux falls market and if theres any changes that would be great. Im only curious becuase it was my home market for 15 years and i might also be going back next summer so i want to know if it will improve by then. Thanks Cam Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  19. I guess I'm spoiled. Basically anywhere that has a band 41 connection has great speed on it. With CA in atlanta its around 30 to 40 mbps except at pro sport events where CA spark is around 3mbps. Even the clearwire band 41 has CA so clear 41 is fast too. Still i just love seeing the speeds get higher so although i dont need 3 carrier aggregation, im excited to see it Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  20. Speaking of 3 carrier aggregation, does anyone know when sprint is targeting a release for that Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  21. I don't really know how much signal you would need or if it would improve with volte but i assume all u need is good data speed for a volte call. So yes it theoretically should work with ur signal Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  22. That should be a usable signal but is it possible that he is on a congested tower and that is why his calls won't go through (the voice portion obviously) Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  23. Because voice doesnt go over lte. So just because the lte connection is good, doesnt mean the cdma one is Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  24. Yes it says 1x next to the signal bars Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
