  1. I seem to be one of the unlucky ones with an unevenly lit screen. What do you guys think?
  2. I routinely have averaged 5-6 hours of usage on my 5, 5S, and 6. My 6 has better standby life then my 5S did so that adds to overall life a small bit. Everyone that had an N5 raves that the 6 is much better, I can agree but not that huge. I routinely get 3-4 hours screen time out of my N5.
  3. Wouldn't surprise me either, service already equals or beats the other 3 in most places. I toyed with switching to one of the other 3 before renewing my contract and just couldn't find any good reasons to after test driving TMO and att again.
  4. Good riddance! Sprint finally kicked its rodent problem!
  5. I just discovered a stuck pixel when I was checking for dust after Installing a Zagg Glass screen protector... Not happy I found that AFTER installing the protector!
  6. Has the lack of eCSFB been confirmed yet? One thing I've noticed is that with my previous iPhones it would take anywhere between 1.5 - 2 rings on the callers end for my phone to start ringing and with the iPhone 6 it starts ringing at the end of the first ring heard on the callers end. My nexus 5 with eCSFB starts ringing within the first ring heard on the callers end too.
  7. From my experience no, my iPhone 6 was refusing to connect to 1x800 with even the slightest hint of PCS just like in previous iPhones. It'd be nice if Sprint/Apple finally fixed this!
  8. I was coming from Halsted and 33rd where I don't pick up any B41 so it wasn't connected by the time I got there.
  9. Driving through Sox park on 35th st in the middle of the game on B25 (not second carrier). I'm surprised it was working so well!
  10. One block away from people crowding into a Sox game on 31st st!
  11. The 6. Have to reboot to fix it.
  12. Still have the bug where it won't change from portrait to landscape mode.
  13. Using 8.0.2 and it works fine on all my devices.
  14. I can agree with this still. In all the time I was using an iPhone I was going up to 4 gigs MAX and then the month I switched to my Nexus 5 I used 9 gigs of data without even realizing it. That may change with the iPhone 6's larger screen though.
  15. The bending thing with the 6Plus may just be bad enough that Apple may have to address it, but if it truly is a non major issue unlike how it's being played out to be now then you probably won't see anything change. I definitely don't remember the 5/5S bending issue being this big a deal though... My mother is thinking about a 6Plus and I may have to steer her towards a 6 because of this though. (She hasn't bent her 5 in two years but I've seen her put it in places where I'm amazed it hasn't yet)
  16. The corporate store I visited in Merrillville had both on display. Last place on earth I'd go to buy anything though...
  17. So the wifi performance on the 6 is kinda blowing the 5S out of the water in some ways... I'm getting lower pings on speed tests now, and things seem to be zippier (that's probably just the phone though!) and finally having it be compatible with 802.11 AC is awesome! Finally tapping the full potential of my 1.5 yr old Asus RT-AC66U router. it's logs were showing my phone connected at 433/433 Mbps! The LTE performance seems improved a good bit too, the 5S seemed kinda pokey at times while my N5 didn't and the 6 surely doesn't. And this call quality makes me wanna throw out our landline!
  18. My iPhone 6 arrived today! So far incredibly happy with the new screen size and I appear to have gotten a "good" phone no visible defects at all. Trading the 5S for sprints offer of 353$ and I'm thinking about selling the N5 I like this phone so much. And this is the case I just picked up for it: http://www.speckproducts.com/candyshell-grip-cases-for-iphone-6.html Had one on my 5S and loved it. Now I can't wait for 8T8R to go live!
  19. So my iPhone 6 Silver 64 gig is set to arrive tomorrow! Can't wait! Hope It doesn't have any hardware issues.
  20. The 6 uses SMS over LTE now?! That's one of the things I loved about my N5 was that.
  21. So I tried to order through Telesales and each time they'd answer and see I have an employee acct they'd "transfer" to an employee rep but instead went back to the main menu. After two times of that I just ordered online and having them buyback my 5S for 353. I'll just call in and ask nicely for them to get rid of the upgrade fee.
  22. Yeah but I'm thinking I won't be able to get my EPRP plan back once it's changed. As for TEP that's not a huge deal.
  23. I ALMOST got an iPhone 6 today but the corporate store tried to force me off my EPRP plan, then after they were magically able to keep that plan after I insisted they could they tried to force me into TEP and said it was store policy. The guy also got pissy when I started asking questions and glanced over at the computer screen. I said F it and left. I'm gonna try the OTHER corporate store that my mothers friend whose a Sprint training rep suggested I try. (She and her coworkers are feeling the heat of the new CEO big time BTW) Or I'll just order online.
  24. At Southlake mall in Merrillville right now, sitting out in the parking lot and both band 25 carriers are pretty well saturated. Pictured below is on the second carrier. The mall and surrounding area is very crowded, this is a very high traffic area that is tough for all the carriers and Sprint was useless when it had only PCS G. Now can't wait for B41 to go live!
  25. I noticed today while driving down a stretch of road by my house that is distant from all Sprint sites that I was getting fairly good B26 signal instead of weak 3G like usual. I managed to pull 5 Mbps down in that area. I'm thinking optimization finally?!
