  1. I know the access fees are in line with the others, however it would be a killer plan if phones were charged but not tablets hotspots.
  2. If they could figure out a way to reduce access fees it would awesome.... At least as long as your on easy pay no access fees. There is a difference between easy pay and access fee vs contract w subsidy. Before there was $15 added into the price for the device??? Now its you pay for a device, plan, access fee? Isn't that more expensive???? I like the idea but without the access fees or maybe if they were lower.. Or if the 25/15 is talkntxt then no fees on tablets hotspots??
  3. I agree on the name change, but I'm not sure SoftBank is the best name. Could be confusing as to why a "bank" owns a cellular carrier. Remember, we gotta keep in simple for the stupid people...lol Call it U.S.Cellular , then talk about expanded coverage new network, people will think US Cellular bought sprint.
  4. According to some pay sites they are suggesting its a good time for vzw/att shareholders to sell. As sprint is expected to drop some prices 15-25% which might give the duo no choice ...price war is coming... I believe masa still wants Tmo... sprint/Tmo can't win a price war the the 2.. As customers won't leave if they are offered a better deal through the duo.. Which will solidify mass sons point and make it easier to merge down the road. I am sure many thought he was just over confident trying to just "buy"/whatever he wanted.. Now offering really cheap plans with minimal growth (unless sprint takes off) would be icing on the cake... Sprint can't compete with the big 2 head to head. At least not for awhile. Who has the most $$finacial backing sprint or Tmo? With the dropping of prices one of these companies will eventually suffer seriously ... In the mean time its great for us.
  5. Good point AJ... Some of us did jump the gun... The individual plans are still coming........
  6. One thing that's obvious is Tmo reads the forums.. I know the shot about existing customers is all the complaining on various sites.. Hopefully Sprint reads it and adjusts the same way he did when the uproar came from them removing discounts (Tmo)... Don't think sprint gets it quite yet.. But now they have retention options ...
  7. They said we couldn't join a framily either...... Just saying I am sure there is a way. I would say am disappointed.... Yet again... Smh
  8. Kinda cool the way it reads no access fees until 2015 so 4 lines save 60 a month.. Then an additional 2gs of data??? "But wait, there's more. To kick off Sprint’s “new day for data” campaign, Sprint is offering a limited-time promotion for the Sprint Family Share Pack: For a family with up to 10 lines, get 20GB of Shared Data and Unlimited Talk & Text for only $100 a month through 2015"–
  9. Now what's the individual lines???? That's awesome pricing but I would like data devices to get better pricing... Give us some more please! Seems like there are no access fees?? Which is great!
  10. http://m.us.wsj.com/articles/softbank-picks-sharp-as-partner-for-low-cost-smartphones-1408357352?mobile=y&mg=reno64-wsj
  11. That would be one way of keeping 3rd place!
  12. Possibly, pay off some debt because they want to do something else.. The last line almost makes me think they don't want to tip off anyone so deny it.. Maybe getting ready to swap/buy some spectrum from someone or go after us cellular?
  13. I am sure most of it was funded by homeland security or FEMA..
  14. Bam! That makes a lot of sense! Guess we finally figured out the event! Sprint introducing sharp edge lineup!
  15. Sounds good but $5 wouldn't wow me..Its like a car dealer... You wany his best price first.. Or you know you aren't going to buy now Your ideas are great, however I wouldn't switch for $5. While the data is important its the $5 less that people really care about.. $15-20 less or more with more data! That's something they will talk about.. I don't use unlimited data like some but I can feel good with all these delays that I am only paying $45 a month (less with my discount)... For the quality of service if I was $75+ I would def have att with the 10gig plan.
  16. Smart move by vzw.... Again, if it were me just make max framily prices the norm. $25 talk/txt 2gb data... That will make those $60 people think again.. Furthermore paying $35 less you will put up with a network that isn't as good as verizons. Knowing sprint, they offer something better but not enough to create some noise.
  17. I don't see LTE 1900 listed on note 4? http://www.techtimes.com/articles/13048/20140815/samsung-galaxy-note-4-specs-and-price-confirmed-by-retailer-5-7-inch-qhd-display-4-gb-of-ram-and-more.htm
  18. When do they optimize? After all 3 are up?.. I noticed in my office I was getting 26 but at weak signal. Before I was getting 1900 but at a weak signal... I don't get it same weak signal now just b26 I don't it has been optimized yet.
  19. "Better" let's hope so. I think instead of starting framily at $55 they are going to take the word "framily" Out and start the pricing at 7..($25) then keep the +$10 and +20 addons that way a "family" of 4 is still $100. I am speculating but the new "family" plans will prolly be the bucket plans.. I expect those to be the biggest surprise as everyone will suggest sprint is moving away from unlimited, when they are just competing against the others. I am hoping there are no access fees for the devices of the first 2 are free or something that makes theirs different than the duo.
  20. Sprints whole claim was with band 41 and CA they could keep up with future data demands and keep everyone happy. So, throw slightly cheaper plans with more data. Tablets and hotspots shouldn't have access fees if you have phone service.
