What? Sprint has been better as a company since Marcelo took over. Churn is down to record lows for the company, postpaid phone net losses are decreasing every quarter, and the network is improving daily (just check RM's 2nd half reports). If Sprint reports good Q4 results and hopefully clears up the apparent confusion about their network strategy I think the stock will rebound a bit. There's still a long way to go and how they will handle debt coming due over the next few years is a real concern, but they're certainly on a better track than they ever were under Hesse.

Sprint's churn was down to 1.54% in Q3 so where does this 2.1 figure come from? I doubt churn jumped back up. http://newsroom.sprint.com/news-releases/sprint-hits-inflection-point-in-its-turnaround-by-reporting-positive-postpaid-phone-net-additions-and-record-low-postpaid-churn-in-the-second-fiscal-quarter-of-2015.htm

It's been like this for months so I doubt it.

Band 41 is still way too exaggerated in my area. The map claims that my house is fair coverage for Enhanced LTE but the reality is coverage is weak band 26 in the sector null.

Signal check had issues identifying some 10x10 I hit in central IL.

Yeah I just found the Reddit post about the latest swap with AT&T. It gave Rockford IL area a path to 20x20. https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/comments/3nv8g3/frenemies_tmobile_att_propose_more_spectrum/

The AWS in Lake Country is T-Mobile's original ownership. The spectrum swap only changed things for Verizon in the St Louis market and surrounding areas allowing them to deploy 20x20MHz. https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/comments/3dzfcd/tmobile_verizon_propose_spectrum_swap_to_achieve/

Slidefuse is just a small startup. I doubt they'll start a wave of providers leaving the service.

Marcelo tweet storm about Sprint speeds. Says that Nielsen data shows Sprint is now faster than all US carriers. https://twitter.com/marceloclaure/status/685630546135789568 https://twitter.com/marceloclaure/status/685630764084375552 https://twitter.com/marceloclaure/status/685631166402039809 https://twitter.com/marceloclaure/status/685631554681348096 https://twitter.com/marceloclaure/status/685631775515660288 National results coming tomorrow https://twitter.com/marceloclaure/status/685636544690950144

And they're the only carrier to be up this week. They're probably up due to their prelim Q4 numbers.

It's not just Sprint, the entire market is down. The Dow is down 5% on the week.

Once WiMax shuts down the 2nd B41 LTE carrier should be fired up in a matter of days. This can be done remotely, so it'll roll out fast. Keep in mind Sprint was all set to do this before the injunction, so they'll be well prepared by the time WiMax can be shut down

They certainly could, but that would be independent of "5G" since "5G" will be improvements to the air interface.
