  1. I have an LG G3 and I feel as though my Galaxy S3 picked up better LTE. I travel from Springfield to Middletown daily and I feel as though the data is getting weaker and weaker. Voice is strong with hd voice pretty much everywhere but the data is literally going down the tubes.

I have a G3 also and it does like to get stuck on 3g. Have you picked up any Band 41 in Springfield? There should be some towers broadcasting.

  2. As I have had the title for two weeks now, I guess this means that I passed the trial period. Hot damn and hallelujah!

  3. I agree. I'm on an 8 line framily plan so no benefit for me to switch (I pay for 2 of the lines, but all 8 of us are actually family). My wife is fine with the 1GB of data (she's a stay at home mom, so on wifi most of the time). I pay for unlimited for myself. The only thing that'll get me to switch is no overages and hotspot included.

Hotspot is included in from your bucket

  4. My wife and I have noticed in the last week or two that if I call her cell when I'm at work and she's home I hear it ring like 6 or 7 times then goes to her voicemail but her phone never rings. And same vice versa if I'm home and she's out. NV is still rolling out but we've had pretty steady LTE for the last month or two. It doesn't seem to happen when we r other places only home. At gone phones on wifi with 2 to 4 bars. Any ideas possible upgrade issues???

I have the same problem. I believe it is network related due to how widespread it is.

  5. I hope you're right but I didn't think they would be able to unless the merger with T-Mobile was to happen? I least that's what I understand from Masa Son during one of his interviews.

Just like At&t saying they needed tmobile to roll out lte...

  6. There are certainly no announced 800 Mhz site yet. However, I got zero LTE in that conference room until I went into the ##data# menu and enabled bands 26 and 41. When my phone finished rebooting it definitely connected to LTE, but quickly dropped back to 3G. I had Network Signal Info app open, but it doesn't specify the band of LTE. Is there another way to check?

    Lte engineering

This will show what band you are connected to. Maybe they were doing some testing.

  7. I wish they would! ;) Would be right up my alley.

TO EVERYONE that has 60657. Please force another Update PRL on your device and see if the problem is corrected. Let me know as I'm reporting things back to my contact.

Updating again fixed my isssue on g2

  8. And that may be placebo effect. Unless you viewed the service option on your CDMA1X engineering screen during the affected calls, you cannot be sure that you were even using the EVRC-B codec.

Placebo? Who cares so long as my cellular hypochondria is satisfied!

  9. Anyone having garbled audio can do this as a workaround. It helped me.

    ##data#

    Tap more

    Tap advanced

    Tap edit and enter msl

    Tap evrc_b

    Tap disable

Tap back key and phone will reboot

  10. My Evo LTE does not get 3G without having the upper back cover of the phone off. How does that work?

That's odd. The back plate on that phone has antenna connections and without it I have noticed signal drops. Have you tried a different back?
