    they're about the same. Sometimes it's slightly faster and I notice upload is usually faster on it. Although it's hardly noticeable.

    It depends but ehrpd is connected to the new backhaul and 4g cores so you could get better speeds due to less traffic but bot necessarily.

    My concern is the camera. I had the photon which was a great device but I use my camera a lot and it was not the best or even very good. I will be getting a q a week from tomorrow and will let you all know.

    I don't think so. Carrying the iPhone helped increase upgrades which helped lower churn and also bring in more customers and raise arpu. It is a significant investment but a necessary one.

    Round up the posse. Our trusted right hand man, themuffinman, has gone rogue, running an illicit LTE tethering scheme. We have to bring him in -- preferably, alive.

    Where abouts are you, and do you have an LTE device? I'm waiting til it starts to go live until I go get my hotspot.

    I have an EVO LTE and I have been to most of the sites Robert listed as 4g but nothing in my LTE record on my phone yet :(

    With the earnings call.

    That is a good a guess as any. I can't wait as I live in the Boston market and the tower that hits my house has already been converted with both 3g and 4g but I am not able to connect yet.

    I'll make it quick

     

    Every time I start poking around a cell site, people give me wierd looks. I went to a half dozen different sites last week and I'm pretty sure as I was driving away from one site that was on a water tower, the police were responding and met me on the road. They must not have had a description of my car, as they just drove past...

    Should we start a bail pool for s4gru members that get arrested while investigating towers?

    I've had a headache all day, maybe there is a great disturbance in the force. Many Sprint customers are disrupting the force with their ________________(I'll leave that to the imagination)

    3G NV towers to LTE

    I went and looked at a few that were upgraded but didn't have LTE - the speeds were all over the map. I then went to the sites that had 4G (not able to connect) but they all had 2mbit+ 3G speeds.

     

    None cought the eHRPD yet, so it was still EVDOrevA.

     

    My best guess is that they need backhaul before they can light up LTE - but the hardware is there. I saw no difference in antenna/RRU setups between LTE site and non-LTE site.

    I have done the same and haven't found anything. My LTE record in ##data# is empty as well. I think this means that the equipment is there but its not turned on due to some reason; maybe backhaul. If the site is on but blocked Robert said it would show in the LTE record but mine is blank so they must not be turned on.

    ok i live in providence Rhode Island.. i just got the evo 4g lte.. when i had the og evo and the evo 3d i had 4g perfect just about everwhere around me.. now i have the LTE so im just wondering when or if RI is geting LTE i know we are the smallest state so im sure it wont be any time soon.. but i cant seen to find any info on my state my poor lil state.. am i not looking in the rite place's??? this is my 1 time on here also..? thanks guys

     

    Just move a few miles north east into north attleboro and you should get it quite soon.
