The auction looks amusing, maybe tmo and dish will push up pricing to try and hurt the big two enough to slow them in the 600MHz auction? It will be interesting to see who ends up with what!
I doubt the big two would slow down in any auction. Instead they will just charge more to make up for increased spectrum costs.

Wow! I hope that come back to bite them. I guess worse case att and Verizon will end up spending more than they wanted.

Threw an /s tag in there- I have no clue if T-Mobile is doing the bidding, my joke didn't seem to make it through the Internet's.

Don't try to find out.... Rofl
No bend, no buy! Everyone knows only premium devices bend.

Lol! They will outbid everyone. Just you wait and see.

Turns out it's little old T-Mobile driving up the prices, in an attempt to troll the big two. I can just imagine Legere tweeting about it... "@Verizon @AT&T U Mad Bros?!? Frustrated yet? #Uncarrier #Attention #TMOrocks"

People have been complaining current customers get the short stick for years now. Hopefully this will shut them up.

I spent the summer in China with my Sprint LG G2 which was unlocked for international use. I also had a hack which allowed me to use the Phone Info app (which allows you to select LTE/EvDo/CDMA, WCDMA/GSM, LTE/WCDMA/GSM, etc). That being said, even though I was able to get HSPA+ using my China Unicom SIM card, I was never able to connect to LTE, I also tried an LTE enabled China Mobile 4G SIM card, and wasn’t able to connect then either.
Even in LTE only mode?

Motorola has the 32gb blue and white in stock as of right now

Anyone else starting the F5 mashing?
Edit: Apparently Motorola had it in stock for a few minutes. I kept refreshing the page, but it never showed up for me.

http://srv.so/CoverageMaps/sprint/index.php here you guys go. It's not all that pretty but it works.
Not working for me on chrome, it's only producing a 420 x 315 image.
I noticed Sprint holds the first set of spark/turbo images in these directories:
http://coverage.sprint.com/MapTile/SparkDataMap/Tiles/spark_data/14/
http://coverage.sprint.com/MapTile/OverlayMap/Tiles/Overlay/14/
This is way beyond me, but maybe you would know. Is there a way to download (all?) files from the directory, even if you don't know the file names?

I still find it silly the Sprint note edge will have CAT6 CA but not the note 4. How do these things happen?

More goodies for premier sponsors!

With Sprint maps you need to zoom in to the best and fair levels. At the zoomed out levels it shows the combined of all signals, which is greatly inaccurate. Zoomed in and looking at Best coverage actually produces pretty accurate signal coverage to expect. I have been pretty impressed in most areas how accurate the Best coverage is.

You'll like what I'm working on now then.

We need a clock again!
I'm sure we will when it comes closer to that time.

Wow....

So... (the equivalent of) $50/month unlimited everything, and $24 to lease an iphone 6 for 2 years? Is that right?

I still have a lot of slots available on my FramilyID and please PM me for code

I agree with you. One example I have though is River City Market place near the Jacksonville airport shows turbo Spark coverage. Whenever I go there only band I connect to band 25. It gets so bogged down I get kicked to 3g without ever connecting to band 41. In fact I've never connected to band 41 at this location even though the maps show coverage. Even when outside.

There are some areas around Houston that show Spark coverage, but not even 1X is available outside.
The coverage maps are really just Sprint guessing, and when in doubt they guess in their favor I suppose.
Even if B41 doesn't reach, they still might show it yellow because nearby B41 helps offload B25/B26. So even on B25/B26, you'll have higher speeds compared to no B41 available in the area.

For those still looking to buy from the play store I was just able to order a 32gb white model

What. Really?

Thank you so much!!! How do you compile images like these? I always wanted topstitch multiple images together but I never could.
With some HTML editing, I was able to view the Sprint coverage map nearly full screen in my browser. I went in and changed nearly every resolution I saw to 4k, and removed images that were in the way. It was a headache.
Then I stitched a few screenshots together.

Many of us hate the tiny coverage tool, so here are some HD images of Sprint's Spark coverage.

*Sigh*
So, you still have an iPhone 4 or 4S?
It's almost 2015.
If anyone is still using an EVDO only phone because of expense, take a look at the Sharp Aquos Crystal. Tri-band goodness for only $239.99.

Are we sure the current UICC/SIM cards being used are the same as the one needed for the Nexus 6?
I remember somewhere saying a new SIM would be required for LTE roaming. Could this phone be the first requiring a different type of SIM?
-
lmao
So this article I read earlier today states that the reason the nexus 6 was out so quickly is because the majority of the purchases was made previously by the carriers thus depleting the amount Google had in stock to sell. Whether true or not, it probably makes sense.
TS
They shouldn't have listed it at all if they only had 50 units left...

Well, my compliments to Google on an Exemplary Pre-Order Launch Day. As AJ pointed out, all 4 units were sold! Marvelous!
How does a pre-order sell out? I must not understand what the term pre-order means. I thought a pre-order was pre-paying for something knowing it's not available yet.
Were there so many pre-orders that Google was concerned about fulfilling them all during the device's lifespan? If not, then shouldn't the orders continue, just with longer and longer ETA's?
I'm not convinced the 100 second window people were able to pay in was the launch...
PSA: Sprint gives you more $$ for a T-Mobile Nexus 5, than a Sprint Nexus 5.

In reality, Sprint's N5 is more valuable. It works on any compatible carrier, whereas T-mobile's works on anyone but Sprint.
