Yep, Band 41 pretty much covers all of downtown with good backhaul too. I got about 60 down last week. Also got 1x800 in Westley Chapel today in areas where I usually roam.
I'm ecstatic to have finally found 1x800. My phone only connected once when it disconnected from the DAS for some reason, but it was awesome nonetheless.

Got 1x800 in the Tampa Bay Times Forum along with intermittent TD-2600 LTE.

This is ridiculous. Mid march and not a peep from Google or Sprint.
I'm a pretty patient guy and I was thinking along the same lines myself. Maybe the lesson learned is not to buy a device that promises additional functionality in a future update.

You guys see any active 1X-800 yet?

For real? ? ?

Yeah. Guess I must be out of sync with the S4GRU collective mind lol. It's a pretty interesting map so I'm sure I'd remember if I had seen it before.

Haven't seen that before. Thanks for sharing!

Anybody in the Tampa Bay area have a tri band phone and have trouble connecting to some sites because of eCSFB issues specifically Band 41? The Brandon area seems to be the worst. If I disable Band 41 on my S4T I have no problems. I think some of the old Clear sites are not properly integrated into the system and is knocking my phone off of the CSFB network and keeping me on 3G. It's only when I get near the sites that have the old Clear Band 41 sites with no Sprint on the towers.
There's a band 41 tower in Jax that I have the same suspicions of. Probably best to report it to Dan's office.

Where can I download .15?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
XDA keeps an archive of all radio files. I don't have the link on hand, but Google it and you will find it.

Did you have to do anything special to connect to b41?

Nothing at all. Just be close enough!

So the .15 radio is better than the .17? Also what's the deal with people not being able to send and receive calls with .15
Sent from my Nexus 5
Some people say it allows the N5 to be stronger in the RF department, but I still think .17 is better in that regard.
The real magic is that .15 connects to B41 effortlessly, albeit there are a few negative consequences like you have mentioned. I keep both radio radio files on my phone and flash back and forth as I see fit.

Exactly. I even got to visit some b41 sites on a mini trip I took on friday, and nothing even if I tried ever single n5 trick
Flash the .15 radio, you will be astonished. I have to say from the few B41 sights I have connected to, I am really glad to be in an old WiMax market with many separate Clearwire towers. Quite a few of them are in Sprint dead zones and augment the coverage PERFECTLY.

Band26 here at the Daytona Speedway?
Well that's interesting.... Were you able to get a speed test off?

I just pulled my N5 out of my pocket and it was doing an Android update that I did not instigate. Came out of nowhere and seemed to download and run itself automatically! Kind of pisses me off.
171 updates total. Just finished booting up. It says Build 49H. Was that the latest before or is this something new?

Are you on ART? I've noticed mine will do that after installing some apps with deep permissions. Or when flashing new files.

I just got the S4T and am trying to figure out how to force Band41. Then I'll map some.
The S4T should prefer B41 out of the box, but I'm not sure you could force it to stay only on B41.

HD calls are currently limited to phone calls within the Sprint Network correct?

Anyone care to explain why not one of you have mapped band 41 around here yet? Coming down there this weekend and im going sensorly crazy. Band 41 will be all im doing.
Looks like may of them don't have a tri-band phone as of yet.

Yep .15 baseband does everything everyone says it does. I couldn't send outgoing texts, or get any incoming ones for that matter.

Beautiful day out today. Low 70s with blue skies and not a cloud in site. Perfect day to upgrade a tower.
Or for Ericsson to sit outside and enjoy nice weather!

I think we have a winner! Been on .15 and I've been connecting to b41 all day no problems.
Going to have to give this a try. Be sure to post if you see any negative effects from this baseband.

On another note, I drove by an old Nextel site near me today and surprise, all the antennas were gone from the tower. Nothing left on it.
Trimming the dead weight. Nextel should have been decommissioned years ago.

What do basebands have to do with connecting to LTE? And I'm M8974A-1.0.25.0.23 for my baseband version. Sooo what does that tell me exactly? Lol
The .17 baseband can hold a fringe signal much better than the .23 baseband. Basically if you flash the older baseband you are going to get better LTE coverage.
Don't ask why .23 is worse because we don't really know why. It's suspected that changes on the AT&T/T-Mobile side of things adversely affected .23's performance on Sprint.
Not to say that .23 isn't good, because it is. However the .17 baseband is amazing.

Well when belleview only has 2 towers technically and the villages only has 3 while ocala has like 20 lol
Can't imagine a better place to see 800mhz implemented. However, not sure if two of these towers will see any updates any time soon. This area is probably fairly low priority for Sprint given their general weakness and low subs in the area.
I want to say, if I remember correctly, that Nextel subs used to be pretty happy with their coverage in the area. Still plenty of hope for a bunch back with 1x800 and LTE 800.

Not sure but I've had Bright House for years before moving to Jax and they are great. Wish they were available up here so I wouldn't be stuck with Comcast.
