  1. What kind of speeds would the Sprint network see once they do carrier aggregation on the uplink?
  2. Same story everywhere, Sprint recording the faster median download, but due to a lackluster upload they lose the market.
  3. http://www.rootmetrics.com/us/rsr/washington-dc/2015/2H Slowly catching up in the nation capital.
  4. I will leave this one here. http://networks.nokia.com/news-events/press-room/press-releases/nokia-networks-shows-industry-s-first-td-lte-advanced-3-carrier-aggregation-plus-256-qam-u
  5. Sprint lost the Kansas city market because of weak upload speeds. They will continue to show solid performance across the country, but lose markets because of the weak upload on the TDD LTE band. Until we see Carrier aggregation on the uplink.
  6. Wow you guys struck a nerve on the Tmobile CTO. Regardless what they do they don't have enough spectrum for the next 10 years and the Germans are aware of that. That is one of the reasons why they want a merger.
  7. There are Verizon small cells everywhere here in New York.As Tim mentioned this is one of the reasons why Verizon keep kicking everyone ass on speeds especially Tmobile. The magentans think Verizon advantage is because only of the lowband spectrum, but that spectrum is only great for coverage. Let's hope those sprint 18,0000 small cells get deployed in the next 18 months.
  8. Sprint's (S) Management Presents at Bank of America Merrill Lynch Leveraged Finance Brokers Conference (Transcript) http://seekingalpha.com/article/3733776?source=ansh $S Sprint money guy talks about the progression of CA, the lease company money which they got yesterday in the books, roaming costs which he hates. However he didn't talk about the densification project.
  9. Still they need to convert clear sites to Sprint LTE 8T8R 2.5gz equipment if they want to take advantage of Beamforming.
  10. I can tell you guys since I have a line with Verizon here in new York that big red kick tmobile ass. Tmobile might have the dense AWS network here, but you still need to be reliable and if you look at the score Sprint is more reliable than pink mobile. Edit Tmobile was tied with Verizon a couple of times as the best carrier, but Verizon has dense their AWS holdings here, and Tmobile will never beat them again. Now the Wildcard is Sprint, and if their dense their grid alone with 2x,3x,4x they if they become king of New York.
  11. They need band 41 in every tower and more. It is simple as that. The 120mhz of 2.5ghz spectrum is their only advantage over the others and they need to go further with it. If you have a city with 1000 towers and you put band 41 only 500 towers that won't cut it. They have to over match and over power the others three. They have the spectrum to do it.
  12. Got the offer by email, the twc stuff only benefit is you don't pay for a cable box box monthly fees. Still if you want the cable channels like CNN espn etc you need to drop 49.99 monthly for the first year. Internet 64.99+49.99 115 dollars, and this is what cord cutters like myself want to avoid. It's like you are paying the same thing minus the cable boxes fees.
  13. I wasn't making reference to you my apology, but to this customer on the reddit. I was making a comment on my mind about how delusional these people are.
  14. Sprint should focus on the network and target att and Verizon Wireless customers. These magentans hipsters are delusional. Legere is raising prices across the board and they call the company transparent. Just because the Ceo drops a few F bombs Tmobile is different from the others and don't care about shareholders.... Yeah right.
  15. According to this Milan guy it is an issue with oakla servers and no tmobile. https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/comments/3uyhos/are_you_sure_your_cell_site_is_congested_bingeon/
  16. https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/comments/3ux4ob/the_congestion_in_downtown_denver_has_been/ This is why the magentan religion won't be broken. Dude gives tmobile a pass, gets great service with Sprint and he still left them.
  17. https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/comments/3uqlwt/will_tmobile_be_the_number_one_provider_one_day/ These people are delusional, and living in pink pink land. The cult is not only very strong, but delusional too.
  18. That is why I refer him as the Tmobile CTO. He has taken pictures in the roof of New york city buildings next to TMobile towers. Tell me unless you are connected to the pink carrier you won't be allowed to be in those type of situations. Of course he has to make a statement to calm down the T shills. spectrum is a finite resource and a 20x20 LTE network won't be untouchable from congestion. I wonder where they will get the spectrum to keep growing since they managed to piss Dish.
  19. The Magentans screamed and made fun when Sprint implemented the 600k streaming on the unlimited plans especially the ALL IN. I guess the Sprint network guys understood that if you give customers the capability of streaming unlimited videos 24/7 the network would crumble.
  20. Looks like the Tmobile marketing brass(Legere etc) has a bunch of yes men in the network and engineering departments . These jokers should had told him Binge on is a terrible idea that would cripple the network.
  21. Looks like the Softbank machine is really invested to bring back Sprint. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2015-11-25/all-in-why-nikesh-arora-bet-483-million-on-softbank-s-future
  22. According to their CTO which used to post here Tmobile is launching 4x4 mimo which would create peak speeds of 300 megabits down. I wonder if Marcelo and the network team will try to up Tmobile since the 8T8R macro sites are future proof up to 2.6 gigabits.
  23. I didn't realize the cult was so strong at magenta land. I want to see their faces when they start experiencing terrible service on a daily basis.
