  1. Individual market data combined into "national" database exists. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  2. Other than earfcn is not always accurate, no problems encountered on another trip with three phones running beta.
  3. Sprint market 07C, which is Samsung, also has ALU sites. They appear to all start at 500hex and end before 2501dec based on analysis of others and what I am seeing in logs.
  4. I saw it this morning on a LG G6 screen from imex99.
  5. Any way to just turn off the "LTE connection found" message on the pull down screens? Thanks
  6. Boot in safe mode and see if it does the same thing. If not, then an app is to blame. If it stays the same, are you in a fringe signal area, including wifi? Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  7. I think we have to look at the MM carriers as being virtual, like the triband antennas. which currently use the second carrier at some sites and the third carrier at others. It is useful for people to know how many possible carriers are at a site based soley on what carrier they are on. So I would have MM, MM2,MM3,MM4 for these high capacity sites. So many people assume that no new bands equals no new capacity. This is an educational effort.
  8. There are rumors of another in New Orleans. It would expect high capacity MM sites to increase as time goes on. Based on what I have seen, they should have enough ports on the routers for the additional MMs to plug into. We have over 110 sites of MMs in Columbus, some with small cells nearby.
  9. No swipe intended. Weaker RSRPs on changed PCIs have much higher odds of being in error. This is actually a function of how many times this particular sector and band are seen (know from Signal Detector) but I assume that counting that would be even more difficult.
  10. Stock LG G4 with Android 6.0 works as it should, that is a typical SCP older phone (no earfcn). Confirmed B25 10x10 earfcns are 8140, 8290, 8390, 8640. Likely are 8090, 8140, 8240, 8290, 8390, 8440, 8490, 8540, 8590, 8640 assuming typical alignment [thanks to lilotimz for helping to finalize this list]. Messy situations would have to be identified per market.
  11. Look at this further today, the GCI sector is not tied to carrier. Instead they are very much like Triband Antennas where 09, 0A, 0B floats currently between second and third carrier.
  12. Four carriers support lilotimz. Need to see strongest lat long. Of course photos of tower would be best. Return trip required. ☺ Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
  13. An additional request, store the data time in an excel compatible format, typically decimal. For example the date and time of this request is approximately: 42897.38 This could be in another column if needed. Currently I pull apart the string and reformulate it. Thanks again!
  14. Good ideas. I personally want the EARFCN displayed by SCP, even when I know what the site should be. It is another means to judge the accuracy of both the SCP data and the site data. Now if we could just get the RSRP value back for known sites while using user_notes
  15. My plan is to then sort through those for new PCIs for things like small cells, else you need to be withing a few blocks to find them.
  16. In the LTEcells file can you add mcc and mnc. That would keep me from splitting the cellinfo file or making bad assumptions. Thanks. P.S.: Any way to get the earfcn for the neighbors? Neighbor earfcn is there. My bad.
  17. B25 5x5 + 10x10 confirmed for Detroit MI with expected GCI sectors [Credit: Joski1624]
  18. Yes 502 is actually for the Airave 3.0, 501 for the Airave 2.5, and I believe 500 is for the earlier models (I have only seen this in logs in more remote parts of Ohio).
  19. No issues with any beta this series on my Sprint LG V20 with LS997V7 software unrooted. I Can list my SCP settings if that is the difference.
  20. added 8390 to Sprint B25 10x10 list above. [Credit: Joski1624]
  21. Some USC download EARFCNs: 2425, 2585 - Band 5 (850) 5090 - Band 12 (700)
  22. Samsung users just need to tell Samsung that they want this EARFCN API supported so they don't have to root. Samsung does not like rooting so the choice should be obvious to them once explained in great enough numbers.
  23. Download EARFCNs that indicate B25 10x10 (for starters): 8140, 8390, 8640.
  24. Photon 4G with Android 2.35 works. EARFCN displays correctly on non-rooted LG V20 using API method with very latest firmware LS997ZV7: "UL/DL EARFCN" on band 41. EARFCN displays correctly on rooted LG G2s using modem method: "UL EARFCN" and line below: "DL EARFCN" on band 41. I like a difference between the two so you will know which one it is using on a rooted Android 7.0 device (during beta, until we know which way gives the most earfcn. Perhaps it is coded for API first then modem? Then the modem would always backup the API on a rooted device if the API misses it). They display the same for B25 & B26.
