  1. A bit if confusion, but rhe rainbow Sim is expected to be on sale in Columbus OH tomorrow. If you buy the phone outright, unlocking still takes a year.
  2. Rainbow sim now becoming available in other ways than beta. Supports VoNR:
  3. I have seen various T-Mobile people use it. Including Neville iirc. Edit: it should be noted that keep site status is not a guarantee, nor is it exclusive. There have been keep sites shutdown and non keep sites converted. Keep site status rather should just be considered a high probability of conversion.
  4. https://www.fiercewireless.com/wireless/new-dish-wireless-chief-marketing-officer-takes-big-challenges Are Dish's issues really just a marketing issue? If this guy succeeds, he could be the next John Legere.
  5. The end of this article basically supports Dish's strategy: https://www.telecompetitor.com/financial-analysts-cable-is-a-bigger-threat-to-wireless-than-wireless-is-to-cable/ Of course execution and timing may even be more important.
  6. Predicts a dramatic increase in Dish's Boost Mobile churn: https://www.lightreading.com/security/dish-hack-expected-to-cut-into-q1-subscriber-tally/d/d-id/783926? Would not surprise me if this end up being one of the most expensive hacks ever. This article makes mention of up to $1.5 Billion.
  7. Implies T-Mobile n41 winnings in mostly rural areas are delayed until the Fall/Winter: https://www.lightreading.com/5g-and-beyond/t-mobiles-latest-5g-spectrum-purchases-stuck-in-limbo/d/d-id/783923?
  8. I have had several problems with the MobileX app processing payments (several errors). They just credited me for the first month, which I will verify tomorrow. Lately support has been more communicative about various errors I have run into.
  9. Despite Dish's claims, I am not certain they are back to normal: https://www.fiercewireless.com/wireless/dishs-cybersecurity-problems-drag-stock-5-year-low
  10. A while back in this beta test cycle I noticed issues with SCP when getting a call on the secondary line on my S21 ultras. I turned off "Allow secondary SIM to use data during calls" which seemed to fix the issue. Fast forward to today and I re-enabled that setting and those issues now appear to be fixed. Now if I do a speed test which works when the setting is this way (other way the speed test is suspended), SCP will say mobile data inactive while I am pulling data. I would document this issue away for now. May behave differently on s22 and s23s.
  11. Sent in several from my 1+ nord n200 5g #1 clear rooted for NSA n41 and NSA n71. They were bracket by nsg showing the same. I realize they may still not have data you can work with. Have nsg screenshots if you need them from same device (DE2117).
  12. I have seen this on s21s if the service mode for net1 and net2 (the sims) are the same and the esim is turned off. Iirc it was the same with the psim unless it was removed. If they don't match then no issues (ie, one is CFG and the other is VZW or ATT).
  13. Wonder if they integrate it into T-Mobile prepaid or allow it to continue pretending it is not part of a big carrier?
  14. Sent att n77 diags for s21 ultra #1. A32 5g factory unlocked works great on att n77.
  15. Sent in n77 att diags for moto g stylus 5g (2021).
  16. Just sent a diag for moto g stylus 5g (2021) for Verizon network MobileX on NSA n77.
  17. On my s21 ultras with factory unlocked firmware (January 1, 2023 security patch level), for the Verizon Network on US Mobile, going into SCP system shortcuts, radio info, and setting preferred Network Type to NR/LTE seems to result in better reporting of n77. AT&T seems to produce similar results but more testing is needed with a nearby n77 site. More testing need on T-Mobile network. Network often inclined to put it on n41 SA and will go to AWS to support VoLTE. NR on display appears to be n41, but will send in diags when certain. Cellmapper supported this plus *#0011#, but network changing to much at this hour. Oneplus Nord n200 5g with oem firmware, radio mode NR/LTE does not appear to make a difference on the T-Mobile network. NR only with Boost sim results in no service, while I only see n600 on Tello.* Send in diags based on speed (600Mbps) identifying NR as N41 if the details in the diags back that up. Hope to end up with android 11 oem for band locking else android 12 oxygen T-Mobile firmware. Really only a T-Mobile device for 5g. Moto g stylus 5g (2021) works great with T-Mobile. Will check out other carriers.
  18. Thanks for the tip. I just was not fast enough. I have deleted these Verizon n41s from the map several times in the past From the s22+ and the s21s.. Verified that the gear (Services) icon is now locked if the indicator icons are locked on all of my active phones. Thank you very very much. 🍻
  19. S22+ n38 error with Verizon as secondary fixed. Sent diags "ere" which hopefully caught a very rare error of n38/n41 being reported as Verizon. Happens a few times per month on s21+ and s21 Ultras. Used "ere" because I had to type fast since diags are captured at end rather than beginning.
  20. Got 4.757b overnight. 4.758b outstanding. Will test with all my 5g phones later.
  21. Just noticed that SCP is displaying my provider as Boost Mobile instead of AT&T yet the PLMN is 310410. Cellmapper is doing the same. 310240 is assigned to Boost Mobile (of course T-Mobile could own it). 313340 is used by Dish Genesis iirc. Nevermind, switched back to AT&T for both
  22. I could see that, with Dish getting a very favorable interest rate.
  23. https://www.rcrwireless.com/20230307/5g/dish-testing-the-800-mhz-waters Moving the band 26 option to likely.
