It already showed up. That is quite a way for that signal to go.Just mapped 4g on tower between old coors all the way up to 86th St. Thats along way for that signal to travel.

I can't wait to go to an Isotopes game and being able to use my phone.

I was assigned to parking lot duty at church this weekend. Having LTE was nice b/c I was able to stream the service out in the parking lot! so cool. I can't wait for towers popping up all over town.

Three sites were accepted yesterday in ABQ, all along Gibson. The site near Gibson/Broadway, the site near Gibson/Yale and the site near Gibson/San Mateo. Hopefully integration teams have moved on to other Metro area sites today, and more are coming. From here forward, the rest of the info about acceptances will be in the Sponsor section.
Robert
It is awesome how fast you get the acceptances for b25.

I went to Saggios today. No LTE there or along the campus but I did pick it up heading east on Central before Wyoming and kept it to Eubank.
Edit: I also wanted to see if B26 was active as well. No dice only 25 which was moving pretty good.

Wyoming and Central, almost 12 mbps DL. 43ms ping. Never thought the day would come.
Can u map on sensorly?
Edit: I have an iphone and I will be heading down there soon today.

T-Mobile on average has more spectrum than either AT&T or Verizon in more Top 100 markets. Right now. This AWS band expansion could possibly tip those totals to favor either AT&T or VZW. But that is only potentially. They have to win it. Right now, Tmo is sitting pretty.
Of course, Sprint has much more than any of them in just Band 41 alone.

Band 41 alone. I love it.

That looks like more than one tower to me.
It has to be which is exciting. A couple towers today and maybe a couple more this week. Keep it going

Note Sensorly used a server in Virginia... skews their speed tests.
Nonetheless, great to FINALLY see some LTE going live there!!
Yes finally. I can't believe it. I thought our city was dead.

I had someone email me recently that they laid down some Band 26 Sensorly tracks over some old Band 25 tracks he laid a few months ago. They are along Gulf Blvd. in Freeport, Texas. He said he's also laid a few other tracks in the area.
You can pick them out because of the sudden/stark increase in coverage where his B26 Sensorly mapping started over B25 tracks. Like along SH 36, about 8 miles west of Freeport, west of the junction with FM 2004. He said that the Band 25 in this area from Site # HO03XC639 used to be faint, but is now quite strong. Improving about 25 dB RSRP.
Robert
Sweet. I just looked at it. Really different how you can tell the increase in distance/signal

Have you been able to map Sensorly with Band 26?

The only reason I brought up IBEZ was the discussion about 800 ports on the antennas why those were open in LC. Anyways, sprint hate us in Albuquerque as well.I don't know why IBEZ would really make a difference in when lc gets 4g. If this was the case then El Paso would be in the same boat seeing at how it's 4g crosses the border. If it's just an issue with 800 then I could live without it, as we have been doing anyways.
Just seems like people are making excuses for why sprint isn't integrating and updating their network in our state or in places where CL is the main network service provider. Either way, I've been with sprint since 2000 and this is just business as usual. They could care less.
I was able to get out of my contract with sprint bc of all of the problems. When they are done, I plan on coming back.
-
Ahh, so the center is for 800. I'll have to look at the other towers and see if they are all the same. I was thinking maybe it was a separate element for the antenna. Either way at least I think all the towers have been upgraded with new equipment in cruces, just need the fiber and someone to find an on switch
If you become a sponsor, there is a map that shows all the towers in the country and you will find that Ericsson has had only about 50% of the towers in LC accepted by Sprint. Worthwhile.
Also, there is plenty of discussion around here about the IBEZ (which is where you are located) and why there will not be 800 voice and LTE for a while. Due to the IBEZ, i believe Sprint will be deploying 800 voice and LTE at or around TorC and North in NM.

I found CL installing the fiber for the T-Mobile side of the tower here in Alamogordo. He said they will be doing sprint but do not have a WO for it yet. There is no AAV cabinet for Sprint yet. He told me they are averaging about 30 days on WO when they get them. So I hope Sprint can get there side done.
By the rate it is going, there is no hope. I need to start evaluating my service needs.

For us jailbroken users, we have to wait until it's jailbroken before updating. Thanks for the post though!

Is it worth it to Jailbreak?

I like my HTC 8X Windows Phone a lot. My largest complaint is the app availability.

I played with the 8x in the store and I liked all the tiles. It was really smooth and it was not a gargantuan phone.

Still, bottom line is, whether or not it's the case, the result is we feel abandoned by Sprint at this point. When the contract is up, if nothing has happened, I'm jumping ship.
I can't disagree with you. I debated to leaving to Tmo. However, I travel too much out of to locations with no native Tmo service.
I am willing to wait to June/July to reevaluate if Sprint is meeting my needs.

There were two reacceptances yesterday. One in Albuquerque and one in Alamogordo. So, someone is working again. A reacceptance is a site that was accepted complete, but later was found to be deficient during integration. Hopefully they will continue with more.

Good to know. I was getting a little depressed.

On 3G it was always over 1m. When I had LTE, I was getting from 2/3 down to 30. Just depended on signal strength.
-
After being in Dallas for a week, I got spoiled. It wasn't great but lte and 3G we're usable and good. I get frustrated looking at other fourth round markets and see the progress they have.I'm starting to get glad that I may get a job and get out. New Mexico is treated poorly and we treat ourselves poorly. My fear is that CL may have shifted work to Denver and Phoenix since they bigger markets when they noticed things getting behind... just my guess. Although, who knows if it's Sprint not accepting sites or sites not being ready. I wish we knew.

Its officially been a month since acceptances in the ABQ market. I am now officially frustrated... What haven't thou forsakeneth?

It's a bit trickier than other phones to change the prl on the N5. Check the xda nexus 5 forums to really learn a lot about how to use the phone. IIRC there is a a computer program that can help with changing the prl.
I really want to get a nexus. might be waiting for a while. I am just not a fan of iphone anymore. Good phone and selection of apps but i miss making it my phone.

El Paso is in the IBEZ which means no 800 voice and Band 26 800 LTE for a while. Not soon at all.
