I don't understand the could be worse part? That is about Sprint's advertised speeds for Band 25?http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/08/05/7ary6ute.jpg[/img southern@ 528. Could be worse
This is my current from my Trifi in journal center.

Back when I had my S II, I could get a decent signal with wimax in an area. But one day I tried using WImax the signal seemed to be weaker (This area had the best wimax signal too). Can anyone tell me if this means that sprint is making it into a sight with B41 or just upgrading it into a whole new sight?
Thanks!

I don't think the location of the tower is moving. In my small expiriences with WiMax on my Tri-Fi hotspot over the past couple of years has been that the power is being turned down and the allotted spectrum is smaller than before. I believe it now only works in 5 or 10 hrz. If indeed those two factors have occured (are occuring), the strong signal area before will no longer be strong.
Suggestion going forward, upgrade to a triband device. Currently, you can get the SG4 at bestbuy for a $1. crazy. If you upgrade to a triband (or even a dual band iphone 5s/5c), your region has great sprint service. Tampa is already a Sprint Spark network. Well good luck.

Is it a c corp or an s corp?USCC is certainly a prime candidate for a buyout with great synergies, but the Carlson Family has shown zero interest in a buyout.

Sprint has definitely improved. I only lost signal for a short time between Denver and Albuquerque. The 5-7 I get at home, as pointed out, are more than sufficient. I've had many (justified ).complaints about Sprint, but, they have gotten MUCH better.
I am with you about complaints. If you lived in abq, pain was everywhere. I am slightly surprised that band 26 isn't turned on yet. That will help capacity and speeds. Also I have already found permits for band 41 equipment that Nokia will be installing which will go much faster than NV 1.0. Band 41 will be the peak speeds that you are looking for. Yet again, I personally don't care for the speeds but capacity.

Near Indigo Crow on Corrales Rd.
I know your speeds are good and signal is low but I have to assume they are testing that site that you connected to as your ping is usually high.
Edit. Nevermind based on a review of a map where you are at.

Damn! Pulling 32 DL here in D need. Sucks to be me, because in Albuquerque I have been getting slower and slower speeds ever since the amazing first few days of LTE goodness.
Do you really need that? All over Albuquerque I have been getting between 6 and 15 Meg's down which is what sprint markets band 25 speeds. Anything over 3 or 4 you don't even notice a difference.

In the city, there were more acceptances on Friday and Saturday.

When i saw that you posted to this thread, i automatically thought you would head down the Neil Diamond route. Still was not disappointed.

I will run by that area in the morning and rerun a quick speed test and see if it has improved.Probably not. One 5MHz LTE carrier is as wide as four EVDO carriers. And no ABQ site has four EVDO carriers. The highest capacity sites have three, that I have seen. So since the site would likely have three EVDO carriers and one LTE carrier running at the same time, it's not likely to be completely overburdened to the point it will not work at all.
There is likely just a problem with the site.

Hmm. That was my experience the other day as well. It might be the tower is already overloaded as it is the only tower by it with LTE.
-
Sorry. Bad choice of words. The existing site along Jefferson that was newly discovered to have LTE operational.
Robert
i will go check it out later today.
-
The Unser/Montano site on the West Mesa and the Carlisle/Indian School site were accepted yesterday. Maybe the new Jefferson site is being accepted today?
Robert
New jefferson site? I didn't know there was one other than the two along north jeffereson

Hopefully they leave it up. I am not over there this week. Exciting for next week. That said, the downloads seem all over the map and much slower than they should be on LTE, so I'm guessing they are still testing the site.

Just this afternoon I started having full bars of LTE on Jefferson/Masthead area at work. So a new tower must have just gone live!
I notes last Wednesday that pings went to the 1000's. On Thursday and Friday, 3G at masthead went to above 1mb down. Awesome news.

Back in the old days Sprint roamed on Alltel 3G in Taos. You can thank the Feds and the Duopoly for taking down Alltel.

Do you think they would ever expand coverage in northern new mexico?
I would love native coverage after Las Vegas north. I can't remember if it is Walsenburg or Pueblo where you hit native coverage.
-
Sprint has never had native service there. I bet that they won't ever have native service.

I know I know. It's just that conversation on this thread had died. And I think the 4 people on here that live in my area are too depressed to talk.
Its like i said, if you were a sponsor you would see where they are talking.
-
So has there been any more activity in this state??? Feels like the south is forgotten.
On a seperate note... The last time I noticed the 4g tower near my house getting worked on turned out to be tmo. They have already turned that on in what seemed like less than a month time from install..
If u become a sponsor, you could have seen the activity in the market. I personally recommend it.

Does Moto G or Moto X support 800 SMR?
The Moto X does.
The CMDA version of the Moto G does not support 800 1x SMR. Also, it does not include Sprint's LTE band 25 (PCS G block) not 26 (SMR) or 41 (BRS/EBS).

I'm betting Albuquerque gets "launched" in a few weeks. I'm seeing lte all over the place. Notice the mapping I just did on the north end of tramway down paseo. That was probably at least three towers I was connected to.

Tramway and Paseo???

I think it would be good. I would go through dan@sprint.com though. I seem to get a call back within a day. They know more that calling cs.Would it do any good to report eCSFB problems to Sprint? There are a couple sites that have been problematic for nearly a month in ABQ. Kind of sucks not being to leave lte on using the nexus 5.
