I'm here in Vegas now on the 32nd floor in Mandalay Bay. My B25 signal sucks. But I am hitting a B41 tower that is pretty decent. There is no LTE on the casino floor here though. New York New York I had B41 the entire time with great speed. MGM I had good B25. This is way better then when I was here in August.

I've been to the scottrade center and the dome in the past few months and had no usable data. No b41 in either the past time I was there. Any indication that may change soon?

I've been in the lower level of the dome and had LTE before. Granted there was no game going on I usable service. 

Does St. Louis have a second B25 carrier deployed like Chicago does?

No. No one has found it yet if it does exist. 

Not sure if there's much to brag about. Speeds are probably fine in underpopulated areas, but urban STL is already way over capacity, even with triband.

 

Downtown/midtown has similar LTE speeds during daylight hours.

 

 

What band were you on when you took this test? My guess is B25. Also where were you when you took this test?

So when I have my screen on full brightness and play a video I recorded from the camera it dims my video. But if I play a YouTube video at full brightness it plays just fine. This started since Lollipop. Has anybody else experienced this?

No, I have my homepage set to Google.

I found that if I turn off "Merge Tabs and Apps" in Chrome settings, Chrome will open properly to my homepage-or the last page I had visited(just like before Lollipop).

If I then turn "Merge Tabs and Apps" back on, it will revert right back to what my screenshot showed.

I had that same issue and it went away when I made the change

I installed this morning and was nightmare. Phone kept locking up. Started receiving a text from something then the phone lock up. Only thing I could do was power down and restart or pull the battery. 

I also do not like the Heads Up Notifications. 

I received the update this morning but haven't applied it. My phone has been running choppy this morning for whatever reason. 

anyone know if you can take a "Sprint prepaid" galaxy s3 new in package and activate it on your "regular" sprint plan?  wife's s3 is almost completely dead, and she's got a few more months to stagger along before cheap upgrade...

I don't believe that Sprint prepaid phone will work on normal account.

Just wanted to post a quick update.. I officially finished my master's program this week, the raise is coming, and I leave for my sister's Caribbean beach wedding tomorrow. Oh, and there was a parade today... 

 

After I get home next week, things will get back to normal -- I'll be on here all the time, and work on SignalCheck will resume. Thanks for your patience!

It's an LS980? You can flash LS980 stock Sprint firmware on it to connect it to CDMA. Surprising you have GSM signal...what Sim card you have in it?

 

Let me find the link for LS980 stock flasher.

 

Edit: If you're running a GSM carrier on your G2, it will not be compatible with LTE bands other than Sprints 25, 26, and 41.

 

Here is the link to return to stock. If you plan on flashing anything, you WILL have your data wiped. Just a warning ahead of time. You need to backup anything important prior to flashing back to stock.
