@mikejeep The first couple of days after the update everything seemed fine, then all of a sudden yesterday it "hung" 3 different times, the only way to get it to work again was to go force stop from settings. Two of the 3 times I did have it running in split window mode so I could see SCP and the service mode screen at the same time. I've had no issues today. Not sure what triggered yesterday, I had received the September android update the day before but I ran SCP that day with no issues. I've had 0 issues with the new update on my T-Mobile S20+.
Another note/ feature request: since the Android update the service mode now shows PCC MIMO info. I wonder if that is reported in the OS in a way you can display in SCP.
I'm having the same issue and I'm not beta. I sent message in main SCP room

Nope, found it to be a pain to use... and wasnt really putting me on the sprint bands anyway..
Band 2 has been having problems.. everytime data hangs/crashes whatever you want to call it (Phone and SCP shows connected, apps and speed test say otherwise) its been Band 2..So with the band selector I found that sometimes I had to do it twice and in some cases even toggle airplane mode before it actually happened.

Galaxy S8 in NJ
As of this morning, phone is only showing Tmobile bands. Im on LTE 4 right now.
Performance is piss poor.
I have a S8 here in STL. They haven't kicked it over to T-Mobile here yet. Only a matter of time. Thankfully this is a spare phone. I have a V60 for my primary.

You never know, sometimes the devices with the best engineering screens report garbage to the OS, and vice versa. I know @S4GRU was testing a V60 with SCP.. Robert, have you seen any 5G band info in SCP? It would likely only be seen with a standalone connection at this point..
I can see that I'm connected but I haven't came across any 5G standalone to verify. However in the NR Engineering screen I get no information at all. Says unknown. However my wife has the Samsung A71 5G and as far as I know it hasn't had 5G standalone either

I didn’t connect to it right away either. I’m not sure if I needed to but it seemed like it connected right after I toggled airplane mode.
Cool. I'll have to try that by my site. I think they have been doing work in our area cause 5G was giving me too many problems yesterday. And not in just one area. I drive Uber/Lyft on the side and was having issues where I was forced to just turn 5G off yesterday until I finish driving.

I first noticed it at Wentzville Parkway and West Pearce. It shows up as an unconfirmed site on cell mapper.
That's around the same area my wife saw it. Like I said she didn't connect to it yesterday. I couldn't connect to the one my phone hit the other day. That was at Manchester and Vandeventer area.

Wentzville.
Was it near the Schnucks on Wentzville Parkway? If so my wife works out there and she connected to it on Friday but couldn't get a connection yesterday.

If your phone is reporting it, yes! Generally works on standalone 5G connections, but not on NSA (5G+LTE anchor). Hoping it improves as more device software updates come out.
EDIT: See some examples in these posts from the Beta Crew thread.
Thanks Mike. I just read through the forum. My fear is with the LG V60 not reporting n41 or n71 in the NR Engineering screen that SCP won't report it for me. LG is really starting to piss me off.

How important is band 71?
I sort of checked out on all this tmobile stuff, and still see the world through the lens of 25/26/41
Think of B71 like B26 but better personally. I can be in the basement of my home on B71 and still pull 30+ down. The closest tower is about almost a mile away.

Mike,
Is it SCP capable of telling what band of 5G you are on?

Experienced T-Mobile B41 LTE for the first time today. Two 20 MHz carriers. Speedtest was 101 down 4.3 up.
Where at?

I would kick this back to iansltx. It matches what I would expect until a market is converted to a greater degree. Although we are hearing exceptions now, for roaming to T-Mobile (and back to Sprint if you need it) you need to be on Sprint.
So if I lose T-Mobile connection my phone will try and hit Sprint then his roam then no service continue this cycle until I toggle airplane mode or restart.

Which carrier is billing you and which carrier is providing your primary service?
Sprint still billing. But phone is always T-MOBILE. Upgraded from my V50 to V60

Just set SignalCheck Pro to display the ip address (plus turn off wifi) then touch the ip adress and SCP will tell you which wireless carrier is being used.
Dumb question Mine says "Sprint Chicago POP". This is from an LG V60 on B71 when selecting. Shouldn't that say T-Mobile?

Where in STL? Was there any B41 LTE?
This is at the corner of Olive and Cross Creek drive. Just w/o of I-270. Hanging from the side of the building. B41 was a no show

Going to see if the Missouri one is active. Think it is STL city though. I know where the n41 antenna is on near there. But I notice it didn't have the other n41 locations on here.

Are you able to try turning off 5G and see if the issue still happens with no connectivity?

Yeah I have tried that a couple of times
Do you have any other devices in your home on Sprint/T-Mobile that are Android?
