I had issues last night at midnight but none sinceAnyone having issues today. Since around midnight I keep flipping to EVDO instead of LTE or even eHRPD this has been primarily in North County on the 270 and 70 corridors. I have Band 41 disabled because I found tethering wouldn't work when connected to Band 41. Also I've had issues on two different towers in St Charles County where the Internet was almost nonexistent on 3g and band 25/26 one was tr hughes and cool Springs ind in O'Fallon the other Lake St Louis Blvd and Ronald Reagan in Lake St Louis.

As far as I know it can't be done but I could be wrongHey so I'm lazy and don't feel like looking for my answer and for that I apologize but it's worth it.
So my buddy has an s4 with Verizon and wants to bring his phone to Sprint.
Can this be done? Legally.
Thanks

Anybody else have hangouts crashing all the time the last couple of days?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
I have.

I recently just got the update. I'm concerned because I have been reading in sprint community forums that this update will break data connectivity. Has anyone recently got the update and it messed up mobile connections?
My wife hasn't complained to me yet but I only did the update on Saturday. So if she fusses at me I'll let you know.

Why would you use the default app to send from if you have the Hangouts app?
Cause Hangout wouldn't let me send to multiple people. When I send from hangout it works fine.
-
Update from me. I sent a text message from the default messaging on my phone and it sent about 15 messages to two different people.
-
so your Sprint number is NOT your Google Voice number, correct? if that is the case, that is why you are not experiencing the problems.
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Once again I'm not having these issues and my Sprint number is my GV number. I just sent a text to my co-worker and he received it once.
-
Since integration I haven't had any issue with text or mms.I an bailing out this Sprint Google Voice and Hangouts intergration. Many people have reported that they are receiving any where from 5-10 duplicated messages.
Here is what I speculate.... There is a serious bug when you send a GV/hangouts SMS.... every session of Google thatv you have logged in.. Sends out a text message. Any browser and smartphone.. recognizes you send and SMS.... and sends SMS out.. Hangouts can't determine that the SMS has been sent already.
That is just my educated guess.. because every Hangouts session I have logged it... that is how many SMS messages the other party gets.
I will switch back to my old setup again...

Then just remove the dialer. Once I removed the hangouts dialer, the option inside hangouts about answering calls no longer exists.
I want the option to answer through hangout without it hitting the normal feature.

Yes, DAS systems are complex. They aren't like the macro sites where the new vendor can just replace with his stuff. About 3/4 of DAS sites are owned by the property owner or a third party that installs/manages the DAS. Most DAS systems are multi provider too. And there are dozens of different vendors and equipment types. Each is a unique situation. Some will involve tearing into ceilings and disrupt the property function. Unfortunately, most DAS systems were not designed to be easily adaptable to future technologies.
The last third are ones owned and installed by Sprint. But these are mostly used in corporations and not public venues. A lot of these are being worked on now. In our NV Sites Complete maps, we label DAS systems that have been upgraded to Network Vision. It is occurring, but it is a very slow process. We expect it to start gaining momentum next year.
VZW, ATT, Tmo have been struggling to upgrade their Public DAS systems to LTE too. But they have a few advantages. ATT and VZW have low frequency spectrum advantage which gets their signal inside airport terminals from sites off the airport grounds. ATT and Tmo often have pretty robust 3G on airport DAS systems that have not been upgraded, because they often include 5MHz WCDMA channels.
Here in St. Louis at Lambert we have a B41 tower that covers the East Terminal pretty well. I pulled I think 20mb down back in April on it. We don't have DAS here in our airport according to the maps but once all the towers near it (which is one left) are upgraded it will be better for single band phones.

What do you want to happen? Calls answered by your phone or hangouts?
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
On my phone would like to try using hangout so i can keep my data live.
-
I am assuming you have downloaded the Hangouts Dialer? If so..keep in mind.. the Hangouts Dialer is on its initial release. Probably quite buggy.
Yes. I haven't had any issues calling out. Just when I receive a call it still comes through the normal phone as well as attempts Hangout.
-
I finally got my merge finished. I thought I saw this in the thread somewhere but couldn't find it. When you have the box checked to ring hangout for incoming calls I can not answer in hangout because I lose data. Was there a work around for this?
-
So I downloaded GV and did the integration through the app but I don't have an option in Hangout to use my GV. I set my GV as my mobile number. I have the latest of both GV and Hangout. I also have the dialer. Am I missing a step?
-
its been a bit since I've been there so I am hoping that is the general consensus these days.

Have you been since B26 has been launched?
-
On the highway its fine in the valley it would just die for anyone I went with who was on sprint.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Yea my signal is ok in the valley also. I don't have any real complaints
-
I swear you were the only person to get good signal there lol!
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
I had usable signal when in the valley. I get decent enough 3G and if I am on 64 I can hold lte the entire way from Olive to the river.
-
So I don't have GV and when I make an outbound call through Hangout my number shows up as Unavailable or Unknown. Is this because I don't have a GV number?
-
How long has it been taking from the time you ship your phone to LG till you get it back? Only complaint I have is the GPS.
-
Is her phone a straight S4 and NOT a triband? I'd bet that it is.
Since the newer tribands are higher serial numbers, the straight S4s should see it first. Once they are pushed, then the Triband phones should start getting the push.
Since mine was purchased on release day, mine should be one of the first sparks to get it.
She is S4T.

Anybody get the new update? My wife's phone has it but I haven't installed it yet.
-
It is LTE accepted also. Just labeled wrong. Can't quite figure out why 26 but no 25.So my guess was right for the previously accepted 3G tower is pushing 26 funny no 25
-
So Jessmann I took a trip out there today and found your mystery tower. If you go to the sponsor thread and look at the last update by lilg the tower was accepted on that one. However that tower is not broadcasting B25 but is definitely broadcasting B26 as I was parked under it with B26 turned off and phone wouldn't connect to it at all.

No LG G Flex I just edited the double post as you replied
Where were you exactly when you got that reading? I'll be out there Tuesday and will see what I can dig up.

So do you open this app every time you need GPS or just once? I just downloaded the app and it locked on after about 10 seconds.
