  1. 59 updates?! What happened, did they hire someone to do acceptances or did he come back from leave? Either way, some good news.
  2. On the surface, work in the Seattle area seems to be at a stand still. While I'm sure work is still being done, the site acceptances seem few and far between for Western Washington these days. I'm fortunate that I have a good strong 3G signal right where I live and work in Kirkland, but I also know that a few blocks this way or that there is a good strong 4G signal. I'm just waiting for the sites at Juanita Beach and Yarrow Bay to go live and I'll be a happier camper.
  3. Is it telling Sprint and everyone else to jump, or Apple just doing what they want in spite of everyone?
  4. Does anyone have some insight to why the LTE action in the Puget Sound area seems to have come to a dead halt (at least on the acceptance side)? I think the only thing I've seen for the last couple of weeks on Robert's acceptance report are a handful of 3G acceptances. I'd gotten used to seeing a couple or handful with each update.
  5. It seems that activity in the Puget Sound pretty much ground to a halt over the last couple of weeks.
  6. Bellevue, not much has been done. Kirkland has a fair bit of coverage in Houghton, Carillon Point, downtown, north Juanita, and the area near costco.
  7. With the second wave of devices arriving next Spring, just in time to upgrade my S3.
  8. I've noticed slower speeds in areas I used to see 1-2 megs and far more instances where the data connection seems to just hang for periods of time. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  9. Perhaps this is what the TRUE Motorola flagship devices are waiting for.
  10. If you can't win, inflict as much pain on your opponent as they take you down.
  11. Probably not hear much of anything else until the Clearwire/Softbank purchases are complete. This is what they announced mid last year. http://corporate.clearwire.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=667820
  12. Today perhaps.. In a few days when Dish comes back with $5.50 - 6, Clear's board will continue trying to string Sprint along while simultaneously trying to jump back in the sack with Charlie.
  13. Hit the same spot again on the way home from work. Again it was a momentary blip and once I turned at that intersection it was gone.
  14. Picked up a new LTE blip in south Juanita this morning on my way to work at the intersection of 98th & 116th Street. It stayed for just a few moments before reverting to 3G. Wondering if it's the site across from Spuds, next to Juanita Beach.
  15. I was just at the Starbucks where the old Albertson's/US Bank are located when SignalChecker chimed in with a 4G notification. They listed the BSL at 105th Pl NE (47.71034, -122.2). Still nothing down by Juanita Beach. Good news!
  16. It's being pushed out over several weeks.
  17. Who cares if Sprint, Virgin or Boost are still selling the GS2? it is still a perfectly viable device that works (and will work) well for many people, despite the loud chatter by some. The few areas that have access to the WiMax network will continue to do so for another year or two, by which time people buying those devices today will be ready for the next upgrade cycle. For most users, even that is a non-issue since WiMax isn't widely available and all they will ever see is 3G. So again, why not sell the devices? As far devices that support the future Sprint LTE bands, they'll be released when they're ready for market. I honestly don't see J6P running to the nearest Sprint store, jumping up and down, flapping his wings, demanding a device that supports all three bands. I think he's going to be perfectly happy seeing LTE roll out across the Sprint footprint over the next year or so.
  18. It looks like a big chunk of the Houghton area of Kirkland is covered. Had a signal from Carillon Point over to the 70th Street Exit on 405, then picked up another signal over by Redmond HS.
  19. Coming into work this morning i picked up an LTE signal in downtown Kirkand. It ran from the core downtown area to a little past Yarrow Bay along Lake Washington. .
  20. It is definitely expanding in the area quite nicely. Hopefully we see things accelerate all over the Sound in the not too distant future. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
