My guess would be the church where the tower is disguised as a cross at that intersection.

Saw the 4G indicator light up for the first time this afternoon when I was in Canyon Park. Nice to see so much activity in the Puget Sound area in such a short period of time. I hope we see the sites coming online at an even faster clip going forward.

It's also possible the first devices will simply be USB data sticks or hot spot type devices. . With phones showing up late this year or early next, as those new networks are a bit more pervasive. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

Thanks Robert. The drip of LTE seems have the beginnings of a trickle. Maybe soon it will turn into a flood.

Someone has been roaming around the new site. Looks like the Nintendo campus is well covered. There are even a few blips on the east side of Marymoor Park.

Gotta make sure the country club folk get their LTE. Though...if that's what they're trying to do, they really need to shift their focus north to Bellevue/Kirkland/Redmond. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

They're always pretty quiet in the first part of the year. That said, you already know at least a handful of high profile device that are coming including the next HTC Android flagship, Samsung Galaxy S IV and the next coming of the Jesus Phone. Add to that the two Windows Phone devices were talked about at CES, and then there's always the dying gasp from BlackBerry. Lots of things on the horizon.

Doesn't mean anything. Customer service and retail store agents are pretty much the last to know anything. Some will speculate based on what they see or hear from customers, but most tow the official line that there is no concrete information regarding the launch of LTE in Seattle. Some customer will be the first to know as they see the 4G icon pop in and out, then Sprint will officially announce Seattle, and finally agents who read their updates will know the launch is coming.

I've been seeing faster speeds for the last several weeks here in Kirkland. The fastest I've seen is just over 2Mbps. I spend much of the time between Juanita and the 520/405. Hopefully it just keeps getting better.

Good news and bad news. Good that they talking about the upcoming communities who are going to have access to the service, Bad that nothing on that list says Seattle, Bellevue or Kirkland.

I've not looked at that site for quite awhile. Last time I looked for my zip code there were only a few marked for data speed upgrades, while everything else was either a voice or capacity upgrade. Now almost all of them in my area indicate data speed upgrades in the next six months. 2 Voice 2 Capacity 14 Speed

Thanks for the update Robert. As sites come online, would they be available for use or would they actually turn them on closer to the actual market launch?
-
I run into this constantly when I need to change devices at work. The site has never been very friendly when it comes to swapping between device types (incl WiMax to LTE). It's a shame they apparently can't be bothered to fix the site and make it customer friendly.

Ever so slowly moving towards the Northwest. Thanks for the update.

Fire Photon torpedoes! Motorola Photon Q hits the FCC OET
oversight commented on WiWavelength's blog entry in The Wall
True, I used to use a Motorola Q long ago. I liked the first Photon overall and was hoping a bit for a true follow-up, not a different form. -

Thanks for the info. Certainly going to pass this by if it has a qwerty keyboard. No desire for the associated bulk or weight. -
No doubt Apple will go after them eventually, IF Windows Phone ever starts claiming significant market share.
-
Lol, unless they get sued to block the release. Can't have any competition for the next coming of the Jesus Phone.
-
It would go well with Apple's apparent patent of rectangular slabs with rounded corners.

Since Google just announced Jelly Bean along with the Nexus 7 and the Q at their show, what is the likelihood we will still a new Nexus phone this year?
