  1. GPS is beyond broken on most nexus 5's.

I must have been lucky with mine. It has always worked correctly.

It is my backup phone so I keep it up to date and charged.

  2. Dropped my phone in water today. Fully submerged. Put it in a bag of brown rice and put in the sun for a half hour. Hopefully it'll be ok. I don't have the $79 to replace it right now.

  4. It is a feeder site to another site that does not have fiber.  Maybe the site out by Holloman?  Or maybe the WiMax site or one of the old iDEN sites in the area.  Which way is the microwave radome pointed?

I will check that out tomorrow. I am pretty sure there is fiber out at the Holloman tower. I can seen the warning signs along the Hwy. and the pings are pretty good out there. either way it is nice to see continuing upgrading around here. I hope B26 comes soon. Too many areas you are dropping to 3G/1X when you go inside.

  5. So my iPhone completely won't make or receive phone calls...  I have been on Chat with Sprint for the last 90 minutes.  Not happy... Wife's iPhone is fine though...

Didn't I read something about some people were having issues with WiFi calling enabled, but not being on WiFi?

I had that happen to me. I had to go into my plans services on the sprint site a deselect wifi calling. Phone worked fine after that. I had to turn wifi calling back on today because I can not make/receive calls on my iPhone or nexus 5. Tower just had the 65mghz upgrade. So I think they had something fail in it.
  6. Ericsson is swapping out 2 (some times 3) RRUS11s for 1 RRUS31s. Takes up less space, uses less power, and has more advanced capabilities.

That leaves 2 RRUs per sector. The project is unrelated to the Band 41 deployment, however sometimes the operations occur near the same time.

Just ran into a crew doing the "65 mghz." upgrade the tower in Alamogordo. Talking with the guy not sure what the difference will be when done. Since I did the ios 8.3 update I have had a degrade in signal strength. Hope this helps.

  7. You have to login to your acct and remove the WiFi calling feature.  When you use it the first time it is added to your acct just like any other feature.  That should resolve the issues with the calls.

I am not seeing it active on my account. When I look in wifi calling and click on my phone. It says wifi calling is not supported on my iPhone.

  8. Well this is what I have. Incoming calls from a land line go straight to VM, cell calls seem to get through most of the time. This started right after I tried the wifi calling. I turned it off (not sure on the reprovisioning side though). Still having the same problem. Also seem to have a degrade in my LTE signal. Use to hang around -102 to -107. Now it runs -112 to -115 and I am seeing a lot more 3G. Is it possible to downgrade iOS version?
