Is there a option for installment billing via sprint through Apple? Not trying to have a credit card tied to a phone payment per month?

I am not sure. It seemed like that, but it can not get through to sprint so I could not place the order. It said the would reserve a phone for me wit ha 4-6 week delivery time. I am holding there and trying though the sprint website

apple site is up. tried that but same thing happens when it tries to connect to Sprint to set up.

Keep getting an error on trying to upgrade. I thought they would be ready for this

Well I will be upgrading from my 6+. Looking forward to the upgrade. The wireless earpods did peek my interest. Not sure I am willing to drop $159 on them though. Will have to wait and see what the reviews are. Second generation will probability be a better bet.

Yea, we are still waiting here in Southern NM also. Do not think there will be anything anytime soon. I thought we were getting B26 in town but now I am sure it was from the Holloman AFB tower. Most of the time speeds are acceptable and above 1mb download. since I am on wifi most of the time it is not a big deal for now. I am still on the Framily plan and have no plans for leaving anytime soon. I will admit it bothers me when the talk about their advance speed and with are nowhere close to getting that here. I got a taste of 2nd carrier in San Angelo TX last week. Speeds were not that great but it was peek time and i am not sure how burdened the system was. I did notice connecting to B26 was a lot slower then last time I was there.

I see sprint is rolling out new unlimited plans. Gonna have to look into them. On the surface it looks good.

Are you sure it was the tower in Alamogordo? There is a tower outside of the AF base that has LTE 800. I am still having trouble connecting the B26 on my iPhone or my nexus 5.

That's extremely low signal, try walking outdoors and do the same thing (cycle airplane mode) and see if you can lock onto LTE 800 (B26)

Yeah I tried that. Never hit on b26. Always straight to b25

Here is a quick video of what I see in signal check.

I just noticed the signal strength of the LTE 800. Not sure why it would be higher.

Of course this time it did not kick back to 3G it went to b25

Maybe the number can explain more. I don't know what they all mean

Nope. I am never able to stay locked on with my 6+ or my nexus 5. Anytime my nexus picks it up it gets kicked down to 3G. So I am guessing they are not letting handsets to use it yet. As soon as I start to get a lock I will run some test. I hope this will help the b25 congestion we have.

Okay so this is what I got tonight at work using my nexus 5. I am on sector one at work and two at home. I have never gotten anything close to these speeds at home. These have only been this fast about the last week or so.

I thought that this would happen in ABQ or Santa Fe first as both cities have band 25 and 26 widely deployed but apparently Alamagordo needed it more!

What would it say? I have the 6+ so I do not think it does CA.

I believe I have found Sprint band 41 permits in the ABQ system. I will be updating the premier spreadsheet soon. Keep your eyes peeled.

Today's the day WiMAX is scheduled to die nationwide at least for all non-protection sites

It appears to be dead here in Alamogordo NM. Could not get a connection. I do believe we were a protected site. Just wish we could get B26.

installed 9.3. So far no problems  I have been waiting to have a way to secure notes. Started to use the apple pay recently. Very cool after I figured out what I was doing wrong. Now my back has it active and it is nice to have. I have forgotten my wallet. But never my phone.

band 26 helps out but not as much as you think it will. Coverage yes, capacity yes, enough capacity probably not if band 25 is already that bad in terms of capacity. You will need band 41.

Well the way I see it is anything will help, I am just wondering why they have not started any B41 upgrades in our market at all. Thought for sure El Paso would be seeing it by now

Does sprint have a time frame for you... when you wil get b26?

about a year ago when i was on the phone with them. I was told the B41 and B26 were schedule to be done withing 180 days.. I knew at the time that that was not going to happen. I did talk to a crew supposedly doing the B26 upgrade. That was like six months ago. So i think they were misleading or did not know what they were doing.

How is it in alamagordo? Is is getting better?

Not yet. It is much better since they turned on B25. Our problem now is the network is congested. Peek times will get you less then a MB a lot of times. Even off peek will max out at less the 5/MB. I think B26 will help out once it is turned on.

If sprint would just get B26 here for in town Alamogordo I think things would be much better. We have B26 at the Holloman AFB tower. But that is not helping here in town.
