Well I sure hope they can fix Alamogordo's problem soon. Data speed are way down below 1MB for a long time now. Been sending in network problems complaint every couple of days. Nothing yet.

Where'd you hear that?

It was from a Sprint crew doing an upgrade to the tower. Said that they have two sites that would carry B41( which he said was a wast) and that they were going to add towers to cover 70 from Alamogordo to Ruidoso and then eventually Roswell.

Great find ! How is Carlsbad or Ruidoso any LTE there yet

I go to Ruidoso one a month. No LTE so far. Will be there next week and will check then. Sensorly is showing mapped LTE in Carlsbad and all the way into Lovington. Glad Sprint finally started the southeast part of the state. Hope they get B26 out in these areas soon. Need better coverage. Also Rumor is new towers are suppose to cover from all the way from Alamogordo to Roswell.

Has anyone had problems with their Framinly plans this month? My discounts disapiered I can not access the plan to see if I still have 9 people on it.

 

Anyone tell who's setup this is? Tower was built about 5 years ago. This is the first set up on it. Was done in the last week. Never saw it being done so could not ask any questions about it. Sure would be nice if sprint would use it. We need more coverage in the center of town. Peek speed have dropped quite a bit in the last year.

In other news, I got a shipment email from Sprint. UPS tracking says my new iPhone will be here Monday!

I have never gotten any shipping notification from sprint on any phone I have ordered from them. I have only known because of the UPS notification of shipments.

Got my 256/G 7+ jet black on 9/27. I was told if would ship on 10/7. I was nicely surprised. So far I am not disappointed at all. Very nice phone.

It's the same process as before. Go to field test, hold power button to bring up the power off screen, and press and hold the force touch home button until the home screen appears. Done.

Thanks. The first time I tried it I could not get it to do it. Got it on the third try. I am thinking I must have been adjusting the pressure on the area. Working great now.

so can anyone tell me how to get the signal strength numbers on the 7? there is no physical home button to press when in the engineers screen

I've had no issue getting 7+ in store, except jet black - that's not available anywhere in the country.

No stores are near by. Plus the Jet Black is the golden ticket for this model. Was finally able to access my order status. The ship by 10/7 date has dropped off. There is no ship by date anymore on my order page. It says to goto sprint page to get shipping date. End of October is what they are showing now.

Anyone else who order the Jet Black 7+ 256/G have the same dates?

It's the color option you chose. Jet Black and Black were the favorites of this years release, especially Jet Black. You'll probably get it late October now. I'm hoping mine doesn't get delayed. Next week Tuesday makes 2 weeks from the purchase date so it should be shipping but I'm not sure.

I had my order placed within 10 minutes of the Sprint site coming online on preorder nite/morning. Was surprised I did not make it for having it on launch day. Everytime I try check order status the web page is timing out So I can not verify the new Nocember delivery date. There is a delivery timeline on the last email. When I re received the email it had a 10/7 shipping date. Now it says November shipping date.

Hmm. Got an email from Sprint. Looks like my 7+ 256/G jet black has been delayed until November. I thought I was an early order when I stayed up late to order.

I got an updated order status email. I was mad at first but once I got through it I should still get it in 10/7. What I don't understand is I got mine ordered within 10 minutes of the website coming online and I still missed the first order. I guess they had a very small quantity of the 7+ 256/G jet blacks.

Took 13 minutes at work. Lets see how bad this slows down my 6. Only thing I care about is wificalling to cdma handoff. If it works well, ill stick to ios10. If not, ill go back to ios9 .

I got my my update done with no problems. Phone is working good. No slows down that I am seeing. I don't use Wi-Fi calling so don't know about that.

I may only visit Ruidoso only once a year (exactly a year ago at this time and where I am today), but I could've sworn 3G was better last year at this time than currently today. Also I'm wondering, is there any hope for Ruidodo getting 4G LTE at some point?

I would go there all the time for my job. You could get 2mb download at EUNM by Albertsons market(old Lawrence brothers) a year ago. Last time I was there it was under 1mb. Not sure what is going on with Sprint in our market. Hope they get back on track down here.

12 weeks? When did you order it?

Ordered from sprint. I had to return the first 6+ I got because the order was wrong. Took 12 weeks and a couple of days before I got the right one. This was two years ago.

Sooo... I was on the iPhone forever (or for life? Can't remember which) and when I tried to upgrade it game me the option to do the 17 month lease for like $39/month. I noticed that for like 41 I could get it on apple with the yearly upgrade and apple care. Soooo... I did it.

But now I'm wondering what's going to happen with the remaining lease payments with sprint. Will I have to pay some sort of difference when I return my current phone to sprint?

I tried that. If said my plan was not comparable with that payment option.

What bugged me was having to put the $200 down payment. I have never had to do that before. A lot of people were saying they have November delivery dates. I hope it is not like when I ordered my 6+. They changed the delivery date twice. Waited over 12 weeks to get mine.

on twitter I have seen complaints about Verizon and AT&T also. A lot of people are saying delivery times are not the 16th. Some have said they were told November

Nothing on sprint site works besides signing in. I even signed out and went as if I was a new customers and that didn't even bring up any phones to select. Sprint didn't plan well for this.
