1. It is beyond pathetic. I always was told that ABQ was going to be one of the last markets, but I became really hopeful when I found activity last December. I know that when I discovered Ericsson working next to my home near Pojoaque last December 27th, I was shocked. And then with all the activity that started in late Spring with full builds, I thought New Mexico LTE was imminent. But the backhaul has languished. Plateau and AT&T backhaul areas now live, but Windstream and CenturyLink backhaul areas dragging on.At least there is a silver lining. By the time LTE starts rolling out, all the physical conversions should be complete with all the hardware in place. So LTE should spread much faster than other markets. But it will be little consolation now. :(Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

Robert I know you are no longer in NM, are you aware of CL doing any back haul in NM? Ahas anyone seen acutual work done for Sprint?

  2. Does the hardware become active after it is installed or is there a wait for the tower to become accepted? We have a tower completed last week and performance is down since the new hardware went up. I was in Hobbs a couple of days ago and things there were horrible, With two NV towers accepted things are worse there then before the upgrade. Was not able to get any type of speed test and spent most of the time with poor signal strength. This was within a two mile radius of the towers.

  3. AlbuquerqueStatus:  Partial LTE Launch/Full Builds Under Way

    NV Sites Accepted = 39%

    LTE Sites Accepted = 10%

Anticipated LTE Launch = Fall 2013 (Clovis launched 10/2013)

    Original Scheduled Completion = Q2 2014

Current Production Rate Completion = October 2014

Centruylink is really screwing us over. It was anticipated that we have a launch by now. It is not looking good by the end of the year.

So does anyone know of any progress by centurylink? Are they doing any back haul work at all?

  4. Just as a troubleshooting step have you tried securing your wifi network with WEP and then see if you are able to connect with the Evo? I know WEP is considered less secure but it might be helpful in diagnosing your problem if the phone will connect with a different setup.

Are you also having trouble connecting to other secured wifi, especially networks that you could previously connect to like your work or a friend's house?

I can't say I can fix your problem but those were just a couple questions that came to mind.

I tried that after I wrote the orignal post. I was able to get a secure connection using WEP. I have not tried any other WiFi's yet but will over the next couple of days. I am content as of now. Hope there is a more major update soon. This update did not change my color saturation on the camera, but that is a minor thing for me.

    Thanks for the input.

  5. I hope someone might be able to help me.

Prior to this upade my phone was working great (expect Goggle Wallet) After the update I can not connect to my WiFi via a secure link. If I open it up, it will with no problems.

I have done a factory reset and still no go. Sprint also had me do a full reset and it still does not work.

I have tried to reset my modem with no luck. I am currently using the WPA/WPA 2

When trying to connect it will ask for my password. After inputing the pw it keeps saying incorrect pw entered. I have ensured I typed it in right but still no go. After the second try it will tell me the modom is out of range. When I toggle the WiFi switch it starts over again by asking for the pw.

Sprint is willing to replace the phone (refurb ofcourse), I am just trying to avoid that if possible.
