    HTC U Ultra

Matching the HTC.com price through Sprint will be tough. Sprint is doing $696 plus the 2 echo dots and $150 trade in. HTC.com is doing $649 + $50 off promo code + $250 trade in.

    HTC U Ultra

Turns out that the HTC U11 is Sprint's most future proofed phone network-wise. First Sprint phone to support 1 Gigabit LTE. Sprint just doesn't advertise it because it can't hit those speeds yet. http://www.pcmag.com/news/353698/htc-u11-is-sprints-first-gigabit-phone

THANKU11 is also another promo code that will get you $50 off. Also HPUE on the HTC U11 is confirmed.

Is that still a thing? I haven't heard anything about it since the HTC One M9.

And if you do the TeamHTC trade in thing, they'll give you $250 for the HTC 10. Much more than any other trade in site will give for it. Gazelle won't even make me an offer for the HTC 10. I'm thinking about trading in my HTC 10 as well. Unfortunately HTC.com only lets me get it in Blue. No other color options, but maybe getting it through HTC.com will ensure we get the phone without any SprintID or any other preloaded apps. Also my main question is does the HTC U11 come with HPUE support?
  6. I use the built-in Google Photos and for music I use Spotify Premium.
  7. I used to get LTE inside my job in New Oxford and as of about a month ago, i barely get signal. If I leave my phone sitting alone on my desk, it will occasionally pick up LTE, but as soon as I pick up my phone, it'll drop to 3G and sometimes 1x and is completely unusable. A coworker and I already reported network issues via Sprint Zone app a few times and are hoping they resolve whatever got messed up.
  8. HTC is as good a phone manufacturer as anybody. The only concession I see Google having to make is the desire to sell the devices for Sub-$500 prices, not in terms of quality or features of the devices themselves.
  9. All is good on my end as well. Also the Humming noise is pretty much gone. If there is a faint hint of it, I can't really tell if it's just me so that's good enough for me, aside from that I can't really see any other improvements. However I'm still having issues with battery draining and the phone constantly staying awake while bluetooth is turned on.
  10. I woke up to this message on my phone this morning. I'm kinda afraid to do it cuz I saw some Verizon users were having issues with it when they updated theirs a couple weeks ago. But I'll take one for the team. Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  11. Over the past few days I've noticed increased battery life because of bluetooth, but it wasn't when i was streaming anything via bluetooth. I would always leave BT on because it would automatically connect to my car, but most of the day it would sit as idle. I normally never had issues with this, but then a few days ago I noticed that on my battery history screen, "Awake" had a solid green line going across the entire screen, and I spent at least an hour trying to figure out what was causing it. And turning off bluetooth for some reason fixed the issue. I think it was because over memorial day weekend, I went to visit my cousin in Ohio and she had me pair my phone to her car via bluetooth and after that point my phone kept trying to scan and connect to her car. I removed her car from my paired devices list, and now I'm going through the process of leaving bluetooth on all day to see if that's still affecting my wake locks.
  12. In terms of updates I wouldn't worry. The biggest issue with the lack of sales seems to be sheer lack of production in general on HTC's part. This phone proved extremely hard to find at launch with no stores in the area even having received them and to this day I don't even know if any store has them. Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  13. No problems using Textra either. Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  14. I never edit my photos outside of posting them on Snapchat or Instagram so I can't help you there. Although I've heard nothing but good things about Snapseed. You can give that a try.
  15. These are stamped. The only thing that I'm not crazy about is that the cable is a bit stiff, so I feel a bit skeptical about bending them too far even though it would probably handle that just fine.
  16. I saw one of the cables he listed were from Aukey which are the ones that I purchased. Since both my sister and I went and got the HTC 10 together, we just bought this 5 pack so that we can change our cables for the car chargers, work and I guess one that she keeps in her purse (the 1 foot cable). http://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-Braided-5-Pack-Macbook-ChromeBook/dp/B01B634WNK?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01 I have no complaints and no issues so far. These feel like the highest quality cables I've ever purchased.
  17. I'm glad to hear that it's not permanent. I wonder if that issue also affects the efficiency of the display overall. I find that the display consumes a TON of battery when it's on. Even with the brightness very low I only get about 3 and a half hours screen on time. 4 hours on a good day. And according to GSAM battery monitor, "Screen" consistently accounts for 60-72% of my battery consumption.
  18. The HTC 10 is definitely a phone that does everything very well so I vote yes. I don't think you'll be disappointed... unless you want to go swimming with the phone.
  19. Now idk if it's just mine, but I just noticed that when the display is turned on there is a veeeeeeery faint high pitch whining sound coming from the speakers. Is anyone else having this issue? UDPATE: I realized that this only happens when the display brightness is under about 15-20% on the brightness slider. If I put it on the lowest brightness, its very faint, and increases in intensity until about 15-20% at which point the sound disappears completely. Very strange but now it doesn't bother me as much knowing that I can get it to stop by increasing my brightness a hair.
  20. Yeah that's why I ordered a ultra thin clear TPU case. I want to not even notice that there is a case on it. The thinner the better. So far I'm really liking the phone. Much smoother and more responsive than the S7. Not to mention that I'm back on Sprint. [emoji119] Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  21. I'm gonna have to try out the Google Keyboard. I keep hearing rave reviews about it on both Android and even the new iOS version. I've been using Swiftkey for the past few years, if you guys have used that before, how would you say it compares to Google Keyboard?
  22. Every site that I've read lists the Uh Oh Protection as being exclusive to orders on HTC.com. Also bummed that Sprint only carries the Glacial Silver version. I really wanted it in Carbon Gray. Also: http://www.androidcentral.com/htc-10-audio-testing-boomsound-evolved
  23. For the audio enthusiasts, here is a personal review with some detailed impressions of the sound quality. http://www.head-fi.org/t/807570/review-on-htc-10 There is also an audio section at the bottom of this review here: http://www.knowyourmobile.com/mobile-phones/htc-10/23571/htc-10-review Surprisingly they went as far as to say that the HTC 10 is far better than the Bang & Olufsen DAC module for the LG G5 citing a lack of output power on the G5 module in comparison to the HTC.
  24. I can't help but feel that you're overreacting because you can't wait a couple days, but in any case have fun with the S7 Edge.
  25. I'm not an audiophile so I can't make sense of all these numbers, but there seems to be some numbers in this video comparing the HTC 10 and the LG V10. Not sure what numbers indicate which is the superior phone in this benchmark. This forum thread should help a little too. http://www.head-fi.org/t/805716/htc-one-m-10-vs-lg-v10-in-audio-quality In any case, this Sunday I will be switching back to Sprint and picking up the HTC 10 and selling my S7 Edge. I can't wait back to be back on Sprint and back to using an HTC, cuz gosh I can't stand Touchwiz.
