  1. Could this be what the EVO One looks like? We'll find out for sure tomorrow.

Saw this earlier on engadget. It looks like a very bad photoshop attempt but if thats what it really looks like then I will be very disappointed. More importantly though as long as the specs are in line with whats rumoured then I am getting it on day one, oh and it better have the same slcd2 screen like the one x.

  2. I think I saw somewhere that you can only take pics while recording a video on the one with the tegra3 chip. But still has alot of impressive features. Anybody see the car dock mode yet?

Not true since the one in the video is the att version which is lte which also has the s4 chip.

  3. No kidding, that was impressive. wow. The ability to take pics while making a video is great, very helpful. But able to do it after the fact while watching the video is even more impressive.

I forgot who said it previously, but I am also throwing my money to the screen and nothing is happening. lol

if the screen looks that good while in video, imagine in real life face to face viewing. wow.

LMAO!!!!!!!!! I was the one that said that and the fact that you quoted me just now makes it even that much more funnier.

  4. Hopefully this hasn't been posted... Here is a video that kind of goes over the camera abilities of the One X (EVO 3?)... It look pretty impressive, but one thing I thought was nice was the screen.. although its hard to tell over a video... but the screen quality produced by that SLCD2 HD screen looks really good!

SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here I come HTC Evo One LTE.

Oh yeah, and excellent video. Thanks!!

  5. I can't see myself buying a Coby. The Nexus tablet, I might. It is nice that they are coming with ICS from the factory, but I bet with something like this, you would never see a MFG update or ROM for a future version of Android.

Well you never know, this thing could be very root friendly and could become the htc hd 2 of the tablet world where you can run just about anything on it.

  6. My guess is that the rumors are false in the same way that all the Galaxy S3 rumors were.

I would definitely welcome the addition of a kickstand and microSD card support. However, wouldn't this go against HTC's new paradigm of simplifying their product line? That was the whole purpose of the HTC One series.

So now instead of having HTC Evo, HTC Thunderbolt, HTC Rezound, HTC Vivid, etc., we instead have HTC One V, HTC One S, HTC One X, HTC One XL, HTC Evo One, etc. And some carriers only get certain models. It doesn't seem different at all from before other than a superficial change in naming style. I think HTC is smarter than this, and I don't think these rumors are true.

I agree with what you are saying and for the most part it is a superficial change, in either case though this phone will have the evo name somewhere in it. Other than the iphone the evo 4g is by far the most successful selling phone ever on sprint, so that name isn't going anywhere especially with the countless evo 4g's that are about to come off of contract.

  7. At CES, there were several reporters who were told not to photo the back of the device. Interesting.

I remember that too, but on other youtube videos a few people actually flipped it over and you could tell that the battery cover doesn't have that little lip towards the bottom which means that it has a higher capacity battery in it. It looked just like the battery cover that comes with the extended battery you get from verizon.
