  1. As an ex-Premier member, I agree. I think taking away Premier was a big mistake. I'm also hoping they bring something similar back. It would get a lot of mileage for them and wouldn't cost them that much. They can't afford to loose anybody - new or existing. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk

I figured you did. As soon as I switched to ART, I had a feeling you did the same, which is why you weren't seeing the weird stuttering I was seeing. That and the disabled animations made the phone act really strange. Between the two, I have a totally different phone and no longer miss iOS in any way (besides iMessage). Honestly, I'm very happy with the results from switching to ART. Not a single issue at all so far. The phone performs flawlessly now. I really don't see the need to root. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk
  4. There were several loopholes in the Framily plans that existing customers could easily exploit. It really depended on the CS Rep you got and their knowledge of what was possible. I'm sure the same will happen with the new plans. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk
  5. The lines are made of some sort of rubber/plastic as they're tore off on the top. You can see it in one of the shots. I saw an even better shot if this exact phone and one of the lines was missing in a few places. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk
  6. These seem like shots of the same phone we've been seeing in supposed leaked shots. The phone has those ridiculous lines on the back of the phone. I surely hope this is some sort of prototype and not the actual production version. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk

Strange indeed. Mine were all set to off. I had zero animations, which I thought was lame for a flagship Android handset. I have them all set to 1x now, like yours. Totally different phone. If you want to know what it is like, turn them all off. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk

  11. No, unfortunately. Maybe it will in the future somehow, but as of now, no. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk

I've not seen a single issue with ART since switching over to it last night. It's worked perfect. You might have had a compatibility issue with one of the apps you had installed causing your issues. Everything is working perfectly on my end, including Facebook. I don't use Chromecast, though. Wow. ART has made a huge impact on my battery, in a good way! I've been on my phone almost all morning and have been streaming music all day. Even watched several YouTube videos. I'm at 50% with almost 4 hrs of Screen On Time. I could never have done this before. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk

It amazes me why LG would ship the Sprint G3 with all animations turned off. When I enabled these through Developer Mode, the phone totally came alive. A much better user experience, especially coming from iOS. With then off, the phone did some weird things and wasn't smooth at all - very stale from an eye candy perspective. Of course ART is really helping, too. Does anybody know if the other carrier's versions have animations turned off? Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk

Awesome. I'm debating on rooting my G3. I honestly don't have much need for it, yet. If ART does for me what I'm hoping it will, I'll be happy with leaving the phone alone. Update on using ART over Dalvik: I've had zero issues so far and have run this phone through its paces. No resets, no hangs or stutters and no freezes. Let's see how well the battery does today. 16. Thanks for the link. You're correct, this is where I got the 3:2. I didn't say I didn't trust Tim - I just don't appreciate the nasty attitude. It is rude and goes against what this site is all about. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk
  17. Easy there, Haus. No need for that. I originally typed 6:3 100/15, but then I googled to be sure and got confused. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk
  18. Tell him he's an idiot. In all seriousness, the math is simple. 5x5mhz FDD-LTE can do about 37mbps max with a good airlink on an unloaded sector. Sprint B25/B26 is currently running a 5x5mhz configuration. I hit 30+Mbps all the time on both B25 and B26, in a major metropolitan market. As for TD-LTE B41, it is configured in 20mhz carriers. Currently, only one 20mhz carrier is enabled on a 3:2 ratio, which has a theoretical max speed of about 85mbps. Sprint will be adding 2 more 20mhz carriers for a total of 60mhz (20x20x20) in carrier aggregation very soon. I have plenty of 80mbps speed tests from B41 sites. Some people don't care about the facts. MIMO doesn't magically change the math, it just changes how many people can get those max speeds and how well they can still get good speeds as their airlink deteriorates at the edge of cell. Just switched to ART on my G3. In the process, I decided to play around with the animation features. For some reason, my Sprint G3 had all animations turned off. I turned them all on and set them to 1x scale and wow, much smoother. The jury is still out on ART. It feels much faster and has none of the stutter issues I was seeing before with system actions like scrolling. Everything except..........wait for it...........Tapatalk.
