Meanwhile, in St. Augustine: Despite the downtown site being fully upgraded, I still experienced terrible service. I got glimmers of B25 and B26, but only in a few places through all of downtown. When I did get a signal, speeds weren't terrible (3-15mbps). EVDO was super slow, though - Pings in the 150+ms, 0.10mbps. Eating lunch at A1A Aleworks, which has a second floor balcony, I was able to pick up a B41 signal, although it wasn't very strong. Obviously St. Augustine still needs site optimization. B26 will do wonders here once this happens! Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk

I just added two lines to my maxed-out Framily (10/10) and had zero issues. Not sure why you couldn't get it done, but it was probably a misinformed rep. That happens A LOT. It takes a minimum of 2 reps to get anything done properly with regards to Framily. Lol. I'm seriously not kidding, most of my Framily are S4GRU members and can all vouch for this unfortunate truth. Hang-up and call back until you get somebody that knows what they're doing. CS at Sprint is generally good, as long as you're not trying to do anything complicated. Haha. Yup. It is a common "issue", even though it really isn't an issue. I prefer a tighter hole (read: Mini USB ). [emoji12] Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk

Just move to Jax, guys. We have everything you need, including B41/B26. There have even been some 8t8r sightings! Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk

Lol. Wow. Sprint should spend a lot of time educating their reps, especially now that the new network is up and running. It is imperative that Sprint explain, in detail, what Tri-Band is, how it works and how the customer will benefit. This should have been explained to the general public, front and center, along time ago - at the very least, made it a priority for reps to be completely knowledgeable of what Network Vision is and how the Tri-Band network works. Training and testing a rep's knowledge on the subject should be a condition of their employment. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk

Yup. And the iPhone 6 becomes less and less relevant. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk

The mini-USB port on my G3 is almost too tight, even after over a month's worth of use. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk

Sell the G2 and keep the new G3. Take the profits from the G2 sale and pay-down the easy pay balance. Congrats! Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk

While this statement was true a few years ago, this really isn't the case anymore. Android has come a very long way. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk

Honestly, now that I've figured out how to comfortably move from the Apple ecosystem to Android's for phone duties, I doubt I'll go back for a little while. I'm too hooked on being able to customize my user experience as well as actually being able to utilize network tools (which come in handy in today's ever changing mobile networks, especially Sprint); not being able to use LTE Discovery or Signal Check Pro is a serious deal breaker for me now. I also really love being able to get a device on the bleeding-edge of what is available technologically. Android has come a long way since I last owned an Android handset (HTC Evo 4G). All the time? Considering my phone is with me literally all day, every day. Aesthetics aren't the only thing I care about, trust me. But Apple is known for their design language. People do have expectations. That being said, my G3 is more than meeting my expectations. I doubt I'll get an iPhone 6 at this point, unless it features CA or some other game changing feature - although, doubtful at this point. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk

Sprint LTE Coverage Maps via Sensorly
CaryTheLabelGuy replied to S4GRU's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
Why not just bite-the-bullet and get yourself a shiny new Tri-Band phone that is a known RF performer (Nexus 5, G2/G3, S5) and see how much better your service is. You have 14 days to test drive it. If it still sucks, take it back and switch to TMO. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk -
By that logic, why even attempt to make a good looking device? Why did Apple have to make a camera that protruded? Why force me to use a case? Of course, we really have no idea what the phone is really going to look like. These are all just rumors at this point. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk

I know why they're there, I just don't like the implementation. The HTC One has the same insulator lines, but they don't look nearly as fugly. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk

Yeah. The lines are a no-go. Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk
