Verizon is marketing their plans very well and making the customer feel as if they are saving. The average customer doesn't use a lot of data like the power users on this site. Some customers actually save at first but as time go on and users switches to LTE devices data usage starts to go up. Also I forgot to mention that the biggest reason people switch to share everything plans is to get subsidized devices.

Report Your LTE Connection Here

I haven't seen anything in Jacksonville yet. I'm on vacation this week and will be all around town so hopefully I can find something -
What do you want to see from the SoftBank investment?
tybo31316 replied to Feech's topic in General Topics
I would like to see more money invested into the network. Build out coverage to compete with at&t and Verizon. Better device selection. More advertising to get good pr so that people know that sprint has improved. Sick of everytime I tell someone that I have sprint service they automatically say it suck -
Rofl that's a good one. It is spreading rapidly though.

I think sprint should go with network vision and not complicating it by buying another company when sprint is already cash scrapped.

This looks like an AT&T LTE tower.

Thanks man I always leave my phone on cdma only because of my old WiMAX phones searching all day but I know the new LTE phones are better at scanning and uses less battery. I'm still paranoid from the past. I need all the battery life I can get. I'll run my phone in LTE/cdma and see what I can find around town.

That would be nice. Sprint could take some of those rural subs from att and vz and reduce roaming fees. -
Maybe its from people shifting to LTE devices. Using 3g and not WiMAX
