Both my and my sister’s iPhone XS have experienced this since we got them at launch. Poof! LTE indicator disappears, leaving just bars. Then bars disappear, leaving no indicator. After a few seconds the reverse of this sequence.
It happens often enough to be annoying, but not so annoying that we’ve called support.

I have something similar happen on my XS MAX. LTE goes away it only shows bars. I can call and text but no data until I cycle airplane mode. -
Did anyone ever pick up an iPhone XR? I did get the 128GB in Blue last month, and I love it. I have it on a 2nd line.
My wife and kids have the XR. They love it. The battery life is longer than any of the X series phones. Even the XS MAX.- 1

I think the S9 got them yesterday
My iPhone XS MAX has VOLTE. Sprint hasn’t launched it in my market yet. I can go an hour and half south and BAM [emoji95] VOLTE. Just not available in my market. -
Interesting.... I think it would have been better to wait for VoLTE to go live on more devices.
Speaking of VOLTE. Has Sprint said anything about the next round of VOLTE launches?
I’m dying over here. [emoji20]- 2

Service seems to be restored on both my lines now.

Fix: ##Update# & Reboot.
Didn’t work -
Sprint posted today that people nationwide with iPhone X, XS, and XR are experiencing service issues. Anyone have anymore details on that?
My wife’s 7plus is having issues also.

Was this after the 12.1.2 update?
Yes when I first purchase the phone in October. Everything was fine. With every update seems like things are getting worst. -
I didn’t notice initially but the newest radio doesn’t seem to be transitioning as smoothly in roaming areas or holding onto a weaker signal. Kinda sad since at one point it seemed to be working flawlessly in my area and experience before.
I’m having an issue where I won’t get a data connection. I have to power the phone off and restart it to get data. -
No. I’m on 12.1.2 and used T-Mobile roaming on Monday.
Maybe it’s deactivated on the tower I normally use T-Mobile on. I just went to a different location and it was working again. -
Has anyone’s T-Mobile roaming been deactivated since updating to 12.1.2?
-
Still going to 1x for calls. So I guess until Sprint activate it(voLTE). Calls will continue on 1x.
-
I have voice and data enabled. When I place a call it goes to 1x. I don’t know if the signal is too weak. I’ll try tomorrow when I’m in a strong signal area. -
iOS 12.1.1 just dropped...... Woohoo!!!
Bring on the VoLTE!
Works on my iPhone XS and a friend’s iPhone 8.
Don’t have anything older than that to test.
VoLTE confirmed?
Also do you have to be in a VoLTE market? -
Turns out these small cells belong to ATT. They have the one pictured and one closer to the Orange Park Mall. I have an ATT device but not sure which band it’s broadcasting. -
My Unlimited Freedom shows 50Gb under plans and services. On the usage section on the My Sprint App it shows 10Gb.

Yeah but lease means you have to return it at some point which makes no since when there going for contiguous spectrum

I’m sure T-Mobile is betting on it being theirs soon anyway. I think this is just a Plan B. -
Well that's unexpected. I thought there was no roaming in Florida for At&t

I didn’t think so either. It was connected for a minute then switched to Band 26.- 1

Looks like Jacksonville has a little ATT roaming going on too.
Band 14 (700PS) -
Seems like the modem version was updated on the 12.1 update. Anyone notice any difference? Also got a carrier update right after the update finish. Went from version 33 to 34.1.
I haven’t installed the update yet. I usually wait. My biggest concern is the new radio. I’m loving the performance of 33 on my XS MAX. Don’t want to decrease the radio performance.- 1

Seems like in Jacksonville. T-Mobile has
20x20 band 2, 4, 66
5x5 band 12
I haven’t come across any band 71 yet. -
Roaming on T-Mobile band 2
20mhz- 1

Apparently, the 10w wireless charging is a Google standard. If you wish to use Qi, you're limited to 5w. The Qi standard goes up to 15w.
Why, Google, why?
Seems like something Apple would do.- 1

If this merger goes through....... The bottom line this transaction is pretty much a done deal and the only ones that will be barking are some of the state's attorney generals. I am glad this thing will be done so we once and for all see the Global Crossing John Legere in full display 6 months after the merger is completed. Oh, I am not sure why most of those Sprint employees at Overland Park still around not typing their resume because Legere and his gang eventually will shut down that campus.
Do you think that having to pay rent, local taxes for two campus is a great business decision... I think not. The Overland Park campus will be sold completely to that startup healthcare company that is making the rumors. Sprint network team will be dismissed once the network integration is completed. I am sure those Tmobile network people don't think highly of the Sprint ones. The Tmobile gang is now saying all the right things to please the Feds and to make feel comfortable Sprint workforce, but once everything is official they will hand pink sleeves left and right.
I agree with everything you said.

They will probably get rid of Boost and Virgin Mobile.
