Now that I ordered my S5 I will probably going to put my Nexus 5 on ebay while it still sells for $350 area and get the Nexus 6. Waiting for this Spark update is frustrating

Has anyone gotten an estimated delivery date yet?
I hope I get my S5 soon

Surprised how quiet this thread has been...
I feel like Samsung has a "bomb" on their hands here. That is, the phone will sell millions, but for sure fall under expectations (again).
Ive just heard zero hype for this thing. The S4 triband had more activity on this forum....
Am I the only one that hasnt hard any excitement for the launch?
After the phone was announced this thread has gone ZZZ.
Many were disappointed by the S5. But I'll be picking one up

That was a crappy HTC commercial. Saw that couple of times on MTV haha

Looks like you can only purchase the gray one :/

"Upper Central Valley" & "Lower Central Valley" should be ringing a bell.
Not what I meant though.

A lot of sites in south San Jose to Los Gatos are still not in progress. Hopefully that changes really soon.
I lose LTE as soon as I'm on 280 and take 87 south to Almaden expressway. Then I get some LTE back close to Santa Cruz. I have some relatives that live in Watsonville with really strong lte coverage.
I'm sure all of San Jose will be clustered lunch shortly. Reminds me of what is going on in SF. No acceptances in SF for months until the last acceptance report.

Went with my buddy to pre order his S5 at RadioShack and you get a $50 non refundable gift card that you can use towards the phone.
It's no different than getting it at sprint or best buy.
I thought the final price would be 149.99 but nope 199.99

I think they should've divided the UCV market into two. Huge market!
Ranges from Patterson all the way to Reno and north of redding.
-
Hopefully it'll come with B41/26 enabled out of the box!
Phone looks really good. Torn apart between the S5 and this. Have to wait until tomorrow :/

Radio Shack has it for $149.99. They are giving you an extra $50 for pre-orders...
Is it $50 off or they giving a $50 gift card?
Some stores give customers gift cards :/

Fresno and Sacramento, the 2 worst areas for the Central Valley!
Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
Throw in Stockton in there

Really tempted to order it

I really do not want to see screen increase. Id rather they just do a 5.3 inch display and keep the same dimensions of the phones. I don't want to be holding a Note like size device anytime soon. Would love to see the Snapdragon 805 SOC chip. I would be curious if LG would implement some heart rate monitor sensor and a fingerprint sensor.
I could see a fingerprint type of tech on the G3. Probably will.

It's that time again for the phones to come out during the summer to start leaking!
The G2 is a great phone so we all have high expectations for LG to deliver a better phone in the G3!
Some rumors so far:
2K display16 MP camera with OIS
Octa-Core/Snapdragon 805
5.5 inch display

I don't know, I really don't. I'm just curious to why I don't receive LTE data when I receive LTE data.
You should know if you are paying for LTE..
If you pay for Sprint data then you pretty much are paying for LTE. If you have a LTE phone you'll pick up LTE signal because of what you pay for.

Was that in North San Jose where things have been "Green" for a while or in south San Jose, land of purple and brown?
On downtown and the southside. Hopefully they fix those issues soon.
On the northside I was picking up LTE good. Wasn't able to connect to B41 :/

Switched to Sprint sim on my Nexus 5 to test out the LTE in San Jose. Looks like the area still has issues Very annoying,..

My girlfrend and I are about to move to the Mid-Wilshire area in the next few weeks (W 3rd Near the Grove). We are assuming that will be a high traffic area due to the abundance of shoppers combined with the usual LA traffic.
A quick search of this thread shows 25Mbps down, but that was a post from April 2013.
How are the speeds in that area now? Still as consistently fast?
That area has couple of band 41 sites lives and couple more to go live soon.
Your data will probably be a bit average since it's a high traffic area. Your best bet would be to get a spark phone and enjoy some super fast speeds. The coverage in LA has improved a lot. If you start heading to mission hills, northridge, and around that area you'll be on 3G most of the time from my experience.

Hopefully the 32gb version will come to sprint

The specs of this phone are awesome. Really excited about it!
Let's hope the battery is a monster to match it!

Or go on Craigslist. I see people selling lg g2 for only $250 brand new in box.
I bought one last week for a family relative for $250. I haven't checked the San Jose Craigslist but if you want to make the drive to the Stockton area you could pick one up.

LOL, I was really excited for a minute there but this is the wrong phone. This is the one plus one which is the cyanogenmod phone.
To add though, the battery life on my One is outstanding.
Dang that's what I get for semi-reading the article. But I think the battery should be around that range.

Hopefully my S5 is a warrior like the S3..
Dropped from a roller coaster ride in Six Flags lmao to being submerged in sea water to couple of seconds and countless drops to tile, concrete, & hardwood. Never had a case for it either (I hate cases).
