    Dude I would love 8 mbps. Anything more than 8 is kinda superfluous at this point in the game. I know you said 8 was your high but 8 should be more than adequate for most purposes.

    Eh at 4-8 Mbps the videos I stream on Netflix or YouTube come out blurry so I always expect a connection faster than 15 so it comes out normal. When it comes to normal web browsing and music streaming 8 is adequate. I was trying to download a 251 mb app from the altamont pass to downtown sf on lte and on times 3G and only downloaded 65 mb in 45 mins

     

    Before I downloaded a 1.15gb game from same location to San Jose at around the same time, this was only 3-4 weeks ago.

     

    Then again I live in Stockton with horrible 3G. I shouldn't be complaining about 4-8 Mbps when I get .01-.40 download :P

    Went to sf today for dinner and was really disappointed in the lte from Livermore all the way to downtown SF. Speeds have never been this slow or have struggled to get lte signal. In Livermore and Dublin I used to pull constant speeds of 10-32 mpbs and tonight the fastest was 8 mpbs.

     

    I wonder what's going on in the Bay Area. I wonder if the South Bay is like that too. I'll know next Saturday when I go back for a soccer game ,

     

    Oakland and SF lte was pretty much useless. Shame.

    1.60? Must've been a weekend or after hours. That's great speeds weekday business hours! I literally can't even ping or connect to anything. Just hangs.

    Haha yeah it was a Saturday back in June or July. Wow it gets worse than 1.60 on full bars lte?? :/

    Completely useless. Can't even ping anything. Full lte signal. I will walk around the whole block where the site is located and nothing. Several sites. Been like that for weeks. Even been on higher floors with LOS and nothing.

     

    At this point one or 2 sites won't even help that much. They almost have to turn all of the remaining sites on at the same time. Triband phones can't come soon enough.

    Yes very true. When I went to downtown Frisco by the westfield mall and union square area I was getting full bars LTE but it was completely useless. I was getting speeds of like 1.60 mbps. I was kinda bummed :wacko:

    So much for hanging onto my s2... It's starting to have issues with the power button, constantly rebooting etc. i even soft bricked it but was able to recover using odin.

     

    Anyhow, pre ordered the G2 and anxious like a kid on xmas eve!

     

    I was debating on G2 and Nexus 5 but I went with the Nexus 5. I just wish it had the battery size and the camera of the G2 :/ other than that what really turned me off was the LG skin. They should've made it more Nexus like, for example the Moto X.

    Somebody recap things for me. Last time I posted everybody got upset about me stating my CRAPPY experience with sprint. Because it's November now and everything about my sprint experience is still CRAPPY. I remember reading on this site that October was supposed to be an exciting time for lte in Sacramento/Rancho. Did that ever happen and I just don't have a triband phone to experience it or something?

    Not really surprised tbh. I was sort if expecting it knowing their track record..

    When can we start taking ppdoimg pre orders in store??

     

    I love everything about this phone except for that batterry. Don't really care too much about a missing sd card because I use cloud programs and it's nice having your stuff anywhere just as long as there is good coverage :P

    Ipad mini iTunes Problem

    Do  they play fine in iTunes on the desktop?  Have you tried going into the iTunes Store settings on the mini and revalidated your credentials?  It sounds like the music isn't authorized.  Do you have the issue with normal MP3s or just song purchases?

    On the desktop they play fine until I go to my ipad mini on itunes and when I try to play a song on my ipad mini on itunes it'll show a exclamation point next to it and it won't play.

     

    Also the storage seems awful wrong. It says I have 26/32 Gb available when I have over 2,000 songs on it.

     

    I really would hate to do a restore since It'll be a pain double checking if I have every song on my ipad mini on my itunes.

    I know this is off topic but I hope someone here can help me out since I've tried everything on mac forums and nothing has worked so far.

     

    Here it goes:

    Ever since ios 7.0.1 and iTunes 11.1.1 dropped I can't sync any music on my Sprint iPad mini. The songs will skip by itself and I can't play any song on my ipad mini. There'll be like a red symbol next to every song.It won't let me sync any music, it'll appear as gray color on iTunes.

     

    Today when I updated to OS X Maverick and the new iTunes 11.1.2 hoping that it'd fix my ipad mini issues it didn't. Now when I go on music, 0 songs show. It only shows saying that I can download music from iTunes.

    I know how you feel. I dont think they have done anything to the wimax tower right by savemart on N.Main st. Im still waiting to see them start work on the tower by the police station which is the only NV site listed for manteca.

     

    Im waiting on buying anything from sprint till NV has rolled through manteca. They are playing catchup to the 3 other big carriers in our city. I hope i can last because T-mobile is looking really good right now. Ive got patience though ive been with sprint for 9 years so i think i can hold out a little more.

    I really would've hoped Sprint built a new tower in Manteca with NV because Manteca has awful coverage since I can remember. Mostly on the 120 side by Costco and the movies.

     

    Not just to the other 3 big carriers but also to Metro PCS who have LTE all over the San Joaquin and Stanislaus County.

    So far everything has been happening up north.. Hopefully soon we get some good news.

    New tower by where I live. I went and checked it out but it didn't have the name of any carrier on it so it's mysterious on whose is it. About 400 yards west there is a new LTE tower but that one had the name AT&T on the cabinets. And about 1/4 mile East there's this new tower being built and it has the name Metro PCS on it.

    LG G2 is up for Pre-Order at Best Buy now. $99 with upgrade/new contract and you get a $50 gift card. Can't beat that. Google needs to hurry up and show the Nexus 5 so I know whether to take advantage of this deal or not.
