  1. Go figure, they turn it on the day after I went down there to map the first one there...
  2. I need to drive down there tomorrow, Maybe head over to Lewes after that.
  3. Hopefully they will discuss the status of Projects Ocean and Cedar, officially announce (and provide some details on) the network expansion that we know is being planned, and maybe at least hint on the plan for the former Clearwire sites. I would also expect some mention on the SprintShack stores although they probably won't have had much of an effect on the quarter.
  4. A very nice showing in Ogden, UT as well. http://www.rootmetrics.com/us/rsr/#!/ogden-ut/2015/1H
  5. No idea what Sprint's response would be... However I would be left to wonder what would have been a bigger train wreck TMO being bought by Comcast or Dish... Either way I would have my popcorn ready to watch.
  6. But the trash comments are the most entertaining part of Fiercewireless....

Yes, and I will say it again, I was so happy when I got rid of Comcast for them.... I will look into that as an option, thanks.

My home internet connection is 50/50 Mbps.
  9. Ah, 93.5 The Beach. The Worst Show Ever. I am just about out of range where I am at. Haven't been down there recently (and it would probably need to be in a work vehicle). Can't speak for D.C or Baltimore as I don't spend enough time there, but Philly has a few stations that are worth listening too. Again I am just about too far here to pick them up. Even though the technical side is a bit foreign to me I did pick up on that. Even if that works though it still comes down to programming.

It is not so much that I would prefer a different solution. I just wanted to see if there where other solutions out there that may have been better options.

I figure it will cost me no matter what way I go, another router on the backside of the house was the first option I thought of. I was hoping to learn of some other possibilities before I chose that route.

My wireless router is near a window, and for the front of the house that works fairly well. It is the backyard where it falls flat. It is not a huge yard, maybe 50' by 150'. What sort of price tag are we talking?
  13. I live in an area that has no good local AM or FM stations, a permanent subscription was the best choice for my sanity. I also like the fact that I don't have to keep look for something I can listen to on road trips. I am more likely to head north than south though, I wonder how far north you can hear it in Canada.... Unless you are looking for an on demand service playing your particular playlist I would argue it is not a big problem.
  14. My current home wifi router works great in the house, however the signal dies fairly quickly when I am outside. What are my options for providing a usable signal outdoors on my property?
  15. I like XM, at least I can listen to stuff I like. They do compress a lot though of their channels, and that is annoying as the audio quality suffers.
  16. Clear Channel (and similar operators) is the primary reason I don't regularly listen to FM anymore. Their stall, bland, one-size-fits-all branding, music, and sindication is terrible. Cutting loose might just be what FM needs, original and locally controlled program devoid of the payola music garbage that dominates it now might actually let it thrive again.
  17. Totals are updated through 4/14. USCC adds from Project Ocean have passed the 100 mark.
