  1. I contacted Chase & they said support is coming but didn't say when. Maybe you can email them too. Perhaps if lots of people reach out to them, things might get sped up. Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk
  2. I'm day 1 preorder user and so far, I'm getting 3 & 1/2 to 4 hrs SOT, in a 16 hrs time period on 5.1.1 OI1, no root. I used to get more when I used to be on 5.0.2 with the pingpong Root with battery-saving root apps (5 hrs SOT). Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  3. Sad that Google wasn't able to fix it from M Preview 3. That bug is what got me to go back to 5.1.1. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  4. Yes, it worked first try. But on some terminals, I have to do it a second or third time, although it's rare. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  5. So far, Samsung Pay has bee a lot of fun using, mostly due to the cashiers' funny and surprised reactions. I've so far used it successfully at Walmart, Target, Smart & Final, H-Mart, Costco, CVS, and Autozone. Only place it failed was TJ Maxx. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  6. Yes, in Orange at Tustin & Katella in the CVS parking lot. Got download speed of 82.19 Mbps! Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  7. I see. Didn't know that. Is it the same with Verizon & other CDMA carriers? GSM is so much easier. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  8. You'd have to cut the SIM card. I cut my AT&T SIM card to nano size to fit my S6E and it worked just fine. I used one of those stapler-type SIM card cutters. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  9. Got my order in this morning for the white 32GB N5X. ???? Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  10. Samsung Pay is live! Added my Amex card and it was super simple. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  11. Same here. 64GB if available. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  12. As for me, I'm keeping my S6E & getting the 2015 N5 as well. Sold my N5 2013 already & will be ordering the new one as soon as the preorder goes up. Gonna run it on AT&T again. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  13. Got my S6E early on preorder & I still love this phone. Currently, I'm on stock, rooted OE2 5.0.2. As a result, it's probably not as smooth as on the latest 5.1.1 firmware but there has been nothing wrong or annoying for me on 5.0.2. I consistenly get about 4 hrs of SOT, the camera still snaps open pretty fast, and multitasking has been good. The widely reported RAM issue pops up once in a while but it hasn't been annoying enough for me to take the 5.1.1 update. No regrets getting this phone. I'd still choose this over the S6E Plus and the Note 5. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  14. No GPS issues here as well. Preorder N5 from Nov 2013. On 2nd battery. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  15. Band 41 has really improved my experience with Sprint. Before, on the S4, it would be 50% 3G and 50% 4G. Super frustrating. With the S6E, it is now 85% 4G and 15% 3G. At strong B41 sites, Sprint is faster than AT&T. But Sprint is still less reliable and have less 4G coverage than AT&T. Hopefully B26 will equalize Sprint to AT&T. 16. My N5 on AT&T works great. Data, voice, mms, texts - all reliable & fast. I connect to band 2, 4, and 17 & hardly ever fall down to HSPA. I wish LG would quickly officially confirm or deny the N5 so I can begin planning. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  17. Ooh, no, I didn't try automatic. I'll give that a shot. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  18. Today the Dev reached out & he performed the DSU remotely via my PC. He used adb & custom apk to send a Profile update to my S6E to DSU it. It worked as promised but I wasn't able to connect to AT&T LTE band 2 nor band 4 despite my S6E having support for it. My N5 gets both band 4 & band 17 at the same location at home. There is a catch though. I can't perform a Profile update as my phone will become locked again. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  19. There is now a paid service option to get the S6 & S6E ISU'ed and DSU'ed. It costs $50 & it seems to be done through an app the dev sends you. I bought it just today but I'm not expecting delivery until tomorrow at the earliest due to the 4th. In case this is useful for anyone else, here's the site: www.idoneapps.webs.com Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  20. Did you try updating PRL & Profile then rebooting? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  21. If it's LG with their improved camera & decent battery size, I shall be getting this to replace my N5. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  22. I'm not even in the software or hardware industry - I work at CVS pharmacy counting pills! - and it was pretty easy swapping out the battery? XD I have plenty experience, though, building my own rigs & disassembling laptops for CPU swap, thermal paste reapplication, and heatsink & fan replacement. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
  23. From Amazon, through the seller Shine-E. Battery manuf date was December 2014, so pretty new. I put it in in April and it's still going great, about 4.5 hrs of SOT. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  24. I fell in love with my N5 all over again after getting 5.1.1 and putting in a new battery especially. The original battery was giving me only 2 hrs SOT after 18 months. With the new one in place, it's about 5 hrs SOT. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  25. AFAIK, you have to contact Sprint & ask them for the domestic unlock. It doesn't seem to be automatic. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk
