  1. This questions is for those that have more info on roll out.. Looking at the Network completed maps, I see Yuma has one 3G complete tower which is a brand new tower added for our area. I also see that most of I8 West of Yuma has the same upgrades to their towers. What is the likelihood of Yuma Starting before Tucson? Normally, Yuma trails Tucson when it comes to cell upgrades whether it be VZ, ATT, and sprint. I also know as mentioned before in another thread, that the city just approved two permits for NV towers. Thanx in advance.
  2. I called again today and they said the same tower was having voice issues and the fix was pushed back till March 7th. You know the same old excuse.. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

  5. The LTE can do forced roaming. Enter *#*#4636#*#* on dial pad, on the menu change radio to 800mhz and scroll down changing CDMA,LTE, Auto, to CDMA only. Or you can root and put a custom ROM that allows you to change that. :-) Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  6. You will be happy with it I'm sure Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  7. No the one on Ave B is not a new tower. The new tower is located down by Somerton Ave and CO 11 1/2 street. and it does have the new panels on it. and as far as the phone, my best advice would be to play with both phones you like, even the GS3 and make your decision. all I gots to say is that I really like my Evo
  8. The sites that were reviewed were the one by Ave A and 32nd street By Kofa High and Ave B and 20th street. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  9. Ok, so maybe some light at the end of the tunel. I just got a text from my contact that works for City of Yuma and told me that he just reviewed Simin Network Vision project permits last week. The city permits are valid for one year so hopefully they will start work here soon.. the permit included multi mode antenna, new battery cabinet and distribution cabinet, new fiber optic cables and and new RRH's, new combiners.
  10. I recommend it. I like it. One of the few phones you can do svdo Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

  12. according to some supervisors from tech support, Yuma has a voice and data outage that is scheduled to be fixed by March 1st. This was from two different sources, Tech support and local store. Take it for what it is, I know we can't trust those two sources but they seem to be synced on this. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  13. I don't think any deployment is going on in Yuma. If anything just capacity upgrades and speed upgrades. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  14. Yuma has been experiencing very slow to no data in the past week. CS said it would be fixed till March 1st. Sprint store said till end of June. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  15. hopefully your right, Sprint lacks service out towards that area Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
  16. I went back later around 4:30 to that site, but the trucks were gone and the area was locked. I'll look around tomorrow see if their still working there Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  17. Just saw a construction crew working on a tower on 32nd street and Ave A, I didn't have the time to turn around to talk to them and see what carrier they are working for. Hopefully they are still there tomorrow so I can stop by. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  18. LOL, Robert, remember where we live man!!! we only get one month (if that) of winter..
  19. That was my understanding and what I was trying to make sense to my buddy who was upset with Sprint after he was told that. I did make sure to refer him to this website to get things straight. :-) Thanx for chiming in Robert... and yes, he does own lots of microwave.
  20. none taken, the guy is not my friend; i just know someone that is and that is what they told him. i havent taken the time to see what he really owns, but my understanding with NV is that Sprint is deploying 4G on what thet already own. Robert might clarify this one he reads it or maybe one of the other members will. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
  21. Verizon just turned on their LTE towers today.. Luck them.. on another news. I was talking to one of my buddies who is friends with the owner of BeamSpeed here and he assured him that sprint will not get 4G soon because he owns all the frequencies that they need to light it up, and he has not been contacted by them yet. I wonder how valid this is.
  22. Strange thing just happened while I was on the phone, I was already on PRL 2512, and I just got an automatic PRL push but the number stayed the same. Anyone else got experience the same? Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  23. I don't believe they are propagating the issue Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
