  1. one thing i have noticed in town is that most of my ping times have been under 100ms. maybe they are finishing up switching us to the 4g switch Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
  2. it's been like this for the better part of this year. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  3. you guys out in the Foothills still have stable data usage. We saw an increase in speed down the valley for about a day then it went down to 1x or low 100kbps again..

  5. thats what we have been dealing with on the west side Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
  6. ok, so I took a drive on the fire truck yesterday out to the East side of town; and your right. service has improved so much. everywhere i went i was hitting at least 600kbps up to 2.01mbps. still the North West side of town is down at the low hundreds throughout the day. 7. you're on the east side of town aren't you? I heard that service has gotten better over there, maybe they are moving west. cross my fingers.. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  8. if you go to network.spring.com you can see 17 upgrades to the yuma/Winterhaven area in the last 6 months. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
  9. during the past 3 weeks, we've had more downs than up's. we have been experiencing text delays, poor voice quality, and very low data speeds. Having said that, yesterday I did noticed an increase (not much) on data speeds. today I was on the north end of down town and I experienced text delays again... 10. Same thing has been happening in Yuma. Very low speeds lately, and lots of voice and text messeging issues. This has been an ongoing issue for the past 3 weeks now. Where we used to get speeds of 600kpbs, they are now in the low 100's or below that. I've called Tech support but they keep giving me the same answer they usually give "tower is down".
  11. I know what you mean, but this is the only area that 3g is working well. The rest of the city is very slow most of the time we are 1 X. Lately the network has been acting up strange, hoping it's a sign of positive change send Robert did say that this area was target for upgrades during the winter. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  12. South of Yuma seems very stable.. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  13. Those don't look bad at all. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
  14. I doubt this means anything. I live very close to the tower that was down and there hasn't been anyone working on site. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
  15. Anomaly or coincidence but for the past two days just at about 630 pm all of sprint services seem to go down. When I say go down I mean no data or ability to make phone calls; text message is sporadic. Have you guys in Yuma notice this? I was told by sprint that one tower at 20th street and Ave B was completely down, but this effected people in foothills up by 10E Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  16. That's in Welton, small population. In the city we average round 150kbps down on good days and 250's upload Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  17. I will try and find out. I have a few friends that work for the city. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  18. I have an idea of where the towers are located, I posted some pictures of the new towers in the Yuma thread Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  19. No, unless I break in the fence and look at the box Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  20. Yeah, I know they don't, but they don't look like the other sprint tower panels either. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  21. Here are the new tower structures down by Somerton Avenue in County 11 and a half Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  22. When I go down to Somerton I'll take some pics to see if we can Identify the panels.
  23. Well, navigating through the map from Network.sprint.com, my guess is that the new tower is placed somewhere along Somerton Ave and County 11 1/2 street. If you navigate the map of when it appears; its on the west side of Yuma county, It does not show in the map, but I know there are new tower structures in that area. I'll just have to go check them out today when I go out to Somerton.
