Even though ppl have reported GPS issues. I have 3 G2s in my household and I have had no GPS issues as of YET.

Anyone know anymore about the update in post #4934?

Feel the same way in Spotyslvania. Just kind of stopped here

Do you know of a reason why these counties maybe slow to update the towers? I just figure it is because it has a lower population and therefore the upgrades don't benefit a lager amount of customers. Being in Spotsylvania county, I would love for Sprint to hit our towers. There has been work around the 118 exit for fiber optics (I think its fiber). But don't know if it has made it to the tower yet, or even if it was going to the tower.

I realize that. Just it doesn't say anything about radio improvement. Just enable it the bands. I'm sure we didn't have to wait this long just to fix hangout and enable bands. Just kinda pointing it out and hoping for radio improvements also possible. I guess I'm expecting the minimal and hoping for more.

Curious how that effected the phone seeing how the PRL is not suppose to effect the LTE.

There are only 2 sites with LTE on it in that area. I have not gotten any on either. I right on the Washingtion DC/Richmond market line and might check out the 2 Richmond towers in Spotsylvania county that should have LTE on it.

Don't know if you are all are still keeping track of this. But Fredericskburg Va. is also having the tri band switch issue and it is consider as the Washington DC market.

With 3 new phone. We do have not experience that problem with the wi-fi. I do not have 4g yet.

That would sound great, But I can open new lines under my 1500 everything plan I just aquired? Do you know of a way to do it? Also does anyone know if the $50 sale will make it to Dec. 19?

Thanks everyone, I think I'm going to roll the dice and get them for the family with the sale. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the N5 has the Kit Kat. And as mention above, upgrading to that might have the fix for the RF issue. Besides 800 should fix the problem also.Si Just can't beat this phone for $50. So I'm going to get 3. Thanks again.

Ok guys, Trying to get the thought of everyone, on the RF on this G2. Thinking about getting on Sunday on this sale. Just little worried about the RF. At the beginning of this thread the RF was the best thing since slice bread. Then the N5 came, and screen post show a couple of dbm difference. Now there has been talk about radio firmware upgrade testing and it has a sub par performance of the radio. So where does everyone stand on this? Is it that much of a difference from the N5? Will there be a update or status? This is the only thing holding be back on the phone.

I don't have one. Just thinking about getting one. Just want to know what to expect.

Seen someone with the issue when the employees got the phone before the release. Its toward the beginning of this thread.

The map in the sponsor membership maps would give you information if you become one.

Not only in IBEZ, but I know they they have paid our county to change some freq. also with our Fire and Rescue Dept.. Think it was done a couple of years ago.

To add, to this, as I stated before, I have Ntelos and it will roam on the airave. But if the phone gets the slightest hint of a Ntelos signal, then it will use that signal (of course that what it's program to do). The Ntelos signal is unusable. I got the airave in hopes that the stronger signal would stop jumping from a Sprint tower to the unusable Ntelos signal. It did help with it, but I still jump signals from Ntelos, Sprint tower, airave. If I could only get one of those RF cancellation boxes all around my house.
