  1. Interesting to find that Sprint.com has a new design and layout, not sure about it but its nice to see something new, now they just need to make a change with the outdated coverage map.

Everything is on the left to navigate (thats the part I am not sure about), but other then that hope to see more changes soon :)

  2. IBEZ issues are clearing this year. On the Canadian side, they will begin as the other side is certified clear. One region at a time. On the Mexican side, they will begin each region as the American side is clear.

Regions will start one at a time as they are clear starting mid year. Sprint wants to be started in all regions before the end of 2015. Sprint will begin installing equipment before areas are clear so they can be fired up immediately after certification.

    I am the source.

However, it was eluded to in the last Sprint Quarterly Conference call when Marcelo said they plan to have B26 under way in all regions before the end of the year.

    awesome!!

  3. Looks like we need to add an asterisk to all that new coverage

"Outside of cities, we see the low-band solution as really the key to end the map wars and get out there and show people we have coverage everywhere," Castle said. "Verizon always puts up maps to show they cover North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, which are beautiful states, of course, but not a lot of people are there. It looks great on TV, but it doesn't make a huge difference to people. That said, we are going to close that gap with 700 MHz and expect to have a competitive map towards the end of the year, because we can with our low-band."

    looks better

  4. Which market is that?

    What phone do you have?

Its in NY state and you obviously did not read what I wrote I said my friend, I do not have t-mobile. "I had a friend who had them back when smartphones just started and he said its not all that much better now with 700. lol Thats just one persons experience though." I should say I have a friend not had. (He has a S5)

  5. Anyways back to the T-mobile discussion.... I live in a 700 market and the funny thing is their signal still stinks, I had a friend who had them back when smartphones just started and he said its not all that much better now with 700. lol Thats just one persons experience though.

  6. Sprint has the capabilities of being faster than the competition, but due to the fact many sites still lacking fiber backhaul, a network that is not dense enough (yet), and many of the 8T8R 2.5gz towers that backhaul is not upgraded yet. Because of what I mentioned I don't see them getting into the whole faster network until late next year.

I can agree on the 2.5 part but the 1900 is getting a lot of attention and is not bad,

  7. Don't count on Sprint to be as fast or faster than the competition until late 2016.

how do you seem to know this? Sprint has fast LTE its called spark, and spark where its available ive gotten almost 60 down and 20 up on Spark before no problem. Also Sprints 1900 LTE is fast 35 down and 9 up is what I get all the time, its plenty fast for normal users.

  8. now the weather is starting to get better r they going 2 start upgrading sites soon

the warm weather has nothing to do with upgrades, Spark was fired up in during the winter and that doesn't have an effect on weather really so long as they can get to the tower, most tower locations get plowed enough to get to, but maybe your thinking of tower climbing, yes tower climbing might happen again soon.

  9. By the end of 2015 I'd love to see the highway GMO sites in NE PA, I-81, and NY get tackled. I feel like even these have higher priority than Western PA does. Even Tmo is starting to get LTE in the boondocks on highways and rural routes.

Fingers crossed for some 90 or 180 day activity once any new schedule map info arrives. There's just so many GMO sites left, it's discouraging :-(

It would be nice to see all of 90, 81, 390 and 86 all LTE for travelers but I guess they dont see it as a priority right now.

  10. In delaware its been random and not in clusters , there lot band 41 on towers but not fired up. Not even close in otimized sites either they got lot work before they can launch a market.some sites dont even reach 1/2 mile yet low power.

My my area they did not fire in clusters from what I was told, they probably do Band 41 differently.
