I'll be back on the list soon! (Or, at least make another donation.) I've been out of work for over a month due to an injury, which led to an orthopedic surgery. As a result, my savings accounts are floating me on house payments and bills. As soon as as I start getting paid again, I'll make another donation. S4GRU is well worth it!
Can't wait to get this behind me!
Thank you to ALL of the awesome S4GRU Staff and contributing members!!

Anyone ever look at either of these cases?
http://www.i-blason.com/prime-dual-layer-holster-case-with-kick-stand-for-apple-iphone-6-plus.html
http://www.i-blason.com/iphone-6-plus-armorbox-dual-layer-hybrid-protective-case.html I have this one for my Nexus 5, but it's so plain with no kickstand.
I like the one you describe as "plain." But, that's how I usually like my cases.. simple. I might give it a shot. How has it been for you?

Not sure if anyone else has got this offer so, I thought I'd through it out there (partially, in hopes of just changing the topic here).
I just logged into my Sprint account and got the following pop-up:
"Congratulations! For a limited time, you're eligible to upgrade your phone when you sign up for Easy Pay monthly installments or our iPhone for Life Plan leasing option with no annual service agreement...."
I am on the ED1500 plan with 3 lines (each under contract), all of which are 10-14 mos out from the 20 month upgrade. Sounds pretty good!

$58 billion richer. Maybe more.
Wow! I think I read in a recent article he's now the richest man in Japan.

Looks like the HTC Desire 510 was launched (today?). Only $216 new, tri-band.

Still nothing online, and I can't find anymore info on a release day yet.
Kind of a shame. Sprint officially announced this phone one month ago. Being it is a good looking and solid device at a steal-of-a-price, I think it would go over quite well if customers could couple it with the $100 20 Gig Family Share plan they are offering now.

Some of us surprisingly still use fax machines, especial since we deal with people who don't know how to scan and email documents yet.

True, I feel sorry for us.

Today, Sprint announced the Sprint Phone Connect 3...
Hopefully it'll include fax capabilities so it can be a true landline replacement, but I won't hold my breath.
As always, thanks for your report, Josh! If it does have fax capability, therefore being a "true" landline replacement, I will definitely consider it.

It seems like the talk time might be better but everything else seems to be worse. Most reviewers are saying that they are getting better battery life on the 5s when doing other functions like video/audio playback, web browsing, gaming etc...
Hey Man, enough trolling the iPhone threads. Excitement only comes once a year 'round here. Surely you've got something better to do.

Within the Samsung Enginerring screens, you can match up System ID, Network ID, and Base Station ID between iOS and Android. Base Station ID is also available with Signal Check on Android.

Wow.. I never knew that. Damn, that's a hell of a workaround!

Sorry if already discussed, but any idea on what the 3-5 cities with denser Spark coverage will be?

Did anyone have any luck ordering through sprint yet?
Here's what I just got:
"The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later."

You could look at the Sharp Aquos, isn't that phone $240 all in?
I think you will actually be able to get it for $150 from Virgin and Boost, if memory serves. Will Sprints subsidiary's get Tri-Band access? I would imagine so, just wondering why the difference in price.
And, yes, $240 on Sprint! Have you heard anything on a release date? Seems like a steal to me!
-
I finally got the integration option and upon trying to integrate, it failed. Now my phone is in a state where it can't receive or place calls.
Most of the Sprint website was/is under maintenance tonight. Not sure if that could be part of the issue, but thought I'd throw it out as a possibility.

It supports way more than just MasterCard.
Yup, that's true. In fact, the only CC I have on my Google Wallet is a Visa debit card.
Your other points are good, too.
I've never had a problem with G Wallet, its been a great service for me and has worked just like its supposed to every time I've used it.

That's a great deal from Sprint, If you're into Apple's phones. I was just thinking, since the device is leased, should/will it require some sort of damage and loss/theft insurance?

Too Sad... count me in. God bless them all.

To follow up with my last post, here it is for $2,213.33
Was that for the Mac or the Park Av? ;-)
Awesome! I can't wait until fall when I can get it myself. And so I can buy either the 99 cent or 3.99 200 gb iCloud storage lol.
J-Law might say otherwise. ;-)

Still nothing online, and I can't find anymore info on a release day yet.
Thanks, Josh! I've been keeping my eye out, too. Hopefully something definite will turn up soon!

Any word on when this phone will be available for sale? I was hoping by the end of Aug. My little brother is in need of a new phone (again) and needs something that won't break the bank. I'm thinking this will be pry the best budget, tri-band phone available.

They should support 1x800. See S4GRU's FAQ's (post#3): http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/1704-frequently-asked-questions/
It's been quite a while since Sprint has released a phone that does not support 1x800.
